I was late for the host club, my teacher held me back to talk to me about my class work. He had said he was quite impressed with my grades, but my lack of extra effort depressed him.

If only he knew how hard it was while I was constantly in the host club. Not that I minded.

As I jogged up the stairs the twins sat on the railing at the top. "Oh, boss is mad at you." They said together. "Poor, Hadlie." They said together and then tsked me.

"Leave me alone, guys." I muttered as I pulled the doors open.

"Why?" Kris asked.

"What's wrong?" Haden finished.

I gave them small smiles, unable to be mad at either of them. "Are you guys trying to make me more late then I already am?" I Asked.

"No!" Kris said quickly.

"Maybe a little." Haden said with a smirk.

"Okay, we are." They said together with a laugh.

I rolled my eyes and closed the door behind me, hearing their laughter from behind the door I shook my head.

"Hadlie! You have a guest! Where have you been?" Tatum asked me.

"My teacher-"

"Enough with excuses!" He pushed me toward a door, "ambers in there waiting!"

"Wait, I have to be in there alone with her?!" I exclaimed.

"Don't worry, it's not like anything bads going to happen!" Tatum tried to reassure me.

I gripped onto the handle and peered back to see Haden giving me a troubled look, but I pushed inside anyway.

Amber sat on the edge of a comfy looking yellow chair, her blonde hair pinned up in a delicate mess of designs. Her eyes were on her tea that she held in between her fingers gently, a half smile playing on her lips. "Haldie. You're finally here."

"Sorry." I said quickly, hurrying over to her. "My teacher kept me late." I sat down with a huff and smiled over at her. "What's up, Amber?"

"I've been looking forward to this all day." She peered up at me from under her eye lashes, a small smirk turned her lips.

"Looking forward to what?" I said with a nervous laugh.

She quickly made her way to sit next to me on the couch. "I want you to be my boyfriend." She laced her hand around my waist quickly, pulling me over toward her.

"Aaaah." I said faintly, trying to push away from her. "Amber, I already told you-"

"I figured I would change your mind..." She closed her eyes and came in to try and kiss me.

"No!" I said quickly, squirming from her embrace.

"What's your issue?" She asked, her hand folded on her hip. "Do you like boys or something? Are you not attracted to me?"

I shook my head, my eyes shut nervously. "It's not that. It's that I have feeling for someone else!" I let out a long sigh.

She pondered it for a minute, then motioned for me to sit down next to her. "I promise I won't try anything. I just want to hear about this girl you like so much."

I laughed a bit, knowing very well he wasn't a girl. But I sat down and leaned against the arm of the couch so I could look at her. "What do you want to know?"

"What's her name?"

I shook my head, "uh uh uh! No names."

She rolled her eyes and huffed. "Does she go to this school?" I nodded. "What's she ltook like?"
