"HIRED ALL 18 OF YOU!" Taeil's grandpa said with a bright smile. He looked at the 18 boys who stood in front of him.

"I didn't know you and all your friends wanted to work in our family's store! We couldn't hire workers because we couldn't pay them all but since your friends are here well...we don't have to worry about payment at all!" His grandpa said as before rambling on about what they had to do.

Kun looked over at Taeil with an eyebrow raised while Yuta mouthed 'We don't have to worry about payment at all'. He looked at Jaehyun with a questioning look.

Chenle and Jisung weren't even paying attention to what Taeil's grandpa was talking about. They were having a mini conversation in the back with each other.

"We're gonna have to wake up early.." Jisung whispered to Chenle as he eyed the back of Taeil's head. Chenle signed and put his hands on his face before replying, "I want to scream."

"Don't."
"Why not?"
"Because you sound like a girl when you do."

Chenle laughed a little but quickly stopped when Johnny looked at them and brought his index finger to his mouth signaling them to shut up.

Which they did.

*SKIPS*

Taeil turned around after his grandpa left but he wasn't greeted with smiles or clueless faces. Instead he saw all 17 of his friends glaring at him. He swear he could se fire in their eyes.

"I can explain." He said quietly as he put his hands up in the air as if they were going to throw hands at him.

"Better to do it quick." Doyoung said as he crossed his arms.

"Yeah, what did he mean by 'We don't have to worry about payment at all!'?" Yuta questioned

"I didn't even know why i was brought here!" Said Heachan

"You just texted us saying to meet you in front of your family's store..." Renjun mumbled before stomping his foot on the ground.

"Half of us didn't even know what we signed up for!" Jisung yelled at Taeil, "I have soccer practice all summer!"

Soon all 17 of them were yelling at the oldest of the group, telling him their plans for the next couple of weeks.

Taeil felt his eyes water a little as he watched all of them yell at his face before he snapped,"Ok ok I'm sorry!" Taeil said.

Taeil looked at them with sad eyes before explained. He explained how his family's store was slowly go out if business and that led to his family getting less money which led him to... well now.

Taeyong sighed before placing a hand on Taeil's shoulder, "You could've just told us what was happening." He said quietly.

"Yeah we wouldn't have yelled at you." Jeno said before giving his cat eyed smile

"Um..but how do we help your family get more business?" Winwin asked quietly before putting both of his hands behind his back.

Taeil's sad expression quickly turned into a happy one and he looked at them with excitement, "Now that's the easy part!" He said, "You guys are all handsome, don't even try to deny the fact, soooo I was thinking maybe we could change the name from Moon," Taeil pointed at the plain sign that sat at the top of the store. It was a washed out dark blue sign with chipped white font that read his last name, "To Nct!... don't ask about the name i just made it up last night." He quickly said to them.

"So you're using our looks to get business!?" Lucas said as he put a hand over his heart

"Well.. sorta but after the store picks up business you'll get paid. So it's a win win situation." Taeil told him, "So are you guys gonna help or not?"

"Huddle time!" They yelled leaving Taeil out of their large circle. Backs against him.

Taeil could hear whispers being said as he stood there playing with his fingers quietly, looking down at his worn out nikes. He needed them to say yes. He needed their help. He needed them to be there for him because he couldn't do this without them.

Taeil didn't realize they finished their huddle meeting until Johnny faked cough loudly. His head looked up at them with eyes that said 'please help me!'

"We all decided that we.... will help you and your family's store." Johnny said with a smile but quickly stopped and had an expressionless face, "But you have to buy all of us icecream. A tub to be specific."

Taeil looked at them with a face that wasn't readable.

"Guys...didn't you hear me? My family's store barely gets any money... you actually think i can afford 17 tubs of icecream?" He said softly to them

"We never said now, idiot." Kun said with a smile "For now we'll treat you to whatever you want but when everything works out as planned you owe all of us!"

Kun put an arm around Taeil before walking down the street. Taeil laughed a little and nodded as they all walked away from his family store.

I didn't know how to start this off so sorry if  this was trash😂
But it'll get better... hopefully! There are gonna be ships in here don't worry!
(Tbh i don't know how this is all gonna go so hopefully i don't mess this up)
