Magic was power and if you didn't have it you couldn't survive. The more magic you had the more power over people you had. The company of Shatter's Inc. was the most powerful business on Earth. By the year 2178 they had taken full control of Earth. Destroying their competitors and killing those who stood in their way. They kidnapped anyone with Magic abilities and killed them. This way they could always stay on top.
Some people with magic had escaped their grasp and remained in hiding. They practiced their gifts in secret and stayed out of site. Shatter's Inc.'s founder Professor Shatters had continuously hunted them down. None could match his magical capabilities and decided that staying hidden and allowing those above ground t suffer his wrath. But after several years Professor Shatters had seen the future. A boy with strange white hair and a black cloak would dethrone him and lead the people to a better life. Professor Shatters would then spend countless days hunting down the foretold boy and the people prayed that this boy would be born and save them from his bloody hold
