Girls Night

When Raven got home excitement bloomed in her chest as she dropped off her bags and decided to shower. When she got out she saw she had a text from Kori.

Star: I'll be over at 5 if that is okay?

Rae: that's fine. I'll be ready.

She packed clothes, toothbrush, and pajamas into a bag as she went down stares to busy herself for the next hour. When Kori pulled into the drive way, it was her dad that answered the door. It wouldn't be so much of a problem if it weren't for the fact that he wasnt wearing any pants like usual. Raven groaned and pushed her dad out of the way.

"Im so sorry about him Kori." Her hand rubbed her face as she stepped aside to let the giggling girl in. "I'll be right back, I have to get my bag."

When she returned, her dad and Koriand'r were talking animatedly. It surprised Raven if she had to be honest. Her dad barely talked to her friends, and he also put on clothes. She walked up beside them and to add to her suprise, her dad was smiling.

"I like her Rae. You got a good one there." His giant hand landed on her shoulder proudly and Kori smiled even more.

"Thanks dad. Let's go Kori." She grabbed her wrist as the red head said bye to her father and they walked out the door. She knew her dad thought she was her girlfriend, but she didn't want to say anything in front of her. They climbed in the car and Kori started it with a smile.

"Your dad is very nice, friend Raven." Raven rolled her eyes and shook her head. A small smile appeared anyway though because she was happy they liked each other.

When they arrived at Kori's house, the raven was surprised. It was huge, and in the nice part of town. She knew the girl was well off but didn't expect her to live in one of this biggest places in town.

"Jeez, Kori. What do your parents do for a living?" Raven grabbed her things as she stepped out of the car, still amazed.

"My parents are both world renown doctors." Kori said shyly, she didn't want the raven to think less of her for all the money. She tried keeping it hidden from most people because she didn't want people treating her any different.

They walked up the big yard up to the big doors into her big house. When they entered there was a spiral staircase and a spacious hall that led to, what the raven guessed, were even bigger rooms. Kori lead the raven upstairs to her room which had pink walls with glow in the dark star stickers on the ceiling. Her queen sized bed at in the middle with pink and purple bedding. A walk-in closet was to her left and a big vanity sat against the far wall, holding makeup, books and other miscellaneous items. A big purple carpet lay on the floor. Kori grabbed raven's bag and threw it on the bed and turned towards the raven.

"I must be honest, friend Raven. I have never had a sleep over before, so I read a lot of the girly magazines to find all the activities we could do together!" Raven let a smile crawl on her face. It was cute how the red head did research on the "perfect girls night".

"Have you had dinner yet Raven? I acquired junk food for tonight that I have never tried and would like to with you." She was jumping up and down excitedly And when the raven shook her head no, Kori grabbed her hand and pulled her to the huge kitchen. She opened the freezer and pulled out a familiar looking yellow bag.

"I thought pizza was boring so I got these!" She laid the bag of pizza rolls on the island and smiled big. "i have never had them before."

"You've never had pizza rolls before?" Kori shook her head with a smile. "well, that definitely has to change." They spent a few hours in the kitchen, making and eating pizza rolls. Ravens favorite part was the look of pure bliss when the taller girl ate her first one. They then grabbed ice cream and headed to the room.
