Was this a mistake

The first day

Hey. This is my first fanfic so I don't really know how well I'll do. Any suggestions would be great! Oh and I do not own the characters in this story. Enjoy!

Mikasa's POV

"Eren! Get out of your bed or we're going to be late. And on our first day! I don't think so! Get up before I pore a bucket of ice cold water on you!" I screamed to my brother. of course he isn't my real brother. My parents died so his took me in, but a while later his mother died when someone robbed her shop. His father went on a working trip, but he still hasn't come back since. it's been five years since this happened though and we're doing fine.

Eren came running down the stairs.

"Took your time."

"Hey it's not my fault you want to get there super early before anyone else gets there." He wasn't very impressed with my 'I'll pore ice cold water on you' threat.

Eren's POV

As we walked through the office doors of our new school I felt a shiver run down my spine. This school looked more expensive then how much we were paying to go. We almost weren't able to go to school at all this year, but luckily Mikasa's waitressing job has said they are going to give her a raise! And I've just started work at an expensive cinema theatre, which get me a lot of money. This is our only source of money. We're lucky to have gotten into the school. Because I want to join the army one day I'll need good education.

"Hi, I'm Luka. how may I help you children." The person at the office asked us.

"Could we please have our schedules. I'm Mikasa and this is Eren. We're starting today."

"What year are you two in?" she seemed really bored.

"We're both in year 11." I said before Mikasa made a snotty comment towards Luka.

"Right... Here you are... Ok here are your schedules. It looks like you have English, science and history together."

We turned away saying our thanks with or schedules.

"I've got home group in room 34. you?" Mikasa asked.

"Room 46. And I haven't got a subject with you till 4th period. We have science."

"Fun... Well I'll see you at recess."

"Uh... Yeah... I'll see you then."

When I entered my home group room there was already someone there. I decided to be friendly and say next to him. He had blond hair up to his shoulders and cute blue eyes.

"Uh..um hi. I'm Eren I'm new here."

"Oh hi Eren. I'm Armin this is my third year here." He smiled and seemed really friendly.

"What classes do I have you in?" I gave him my schedule to compare.

"Well we have geography, art and science together by the looks of it." I look over his shoulder and see we also have physical education.

"What about P.E.?"

"Oh the whole year does that together. Sometimes we do it with the year older than us."

Oh well that means I may be able to make more friends.

Mikasa's POV

As I enter the room I see a girl sitting at a desk.

"Hey can I sit here?"

"There are twenty other sits in the room you know." She said in a really mean tone.

"Yeah umm... I'm Mikasa what's your name." I asked ignoring her tone.

"(Sigh) I'm Annie. Now I'm sorry but I really don't what to be friends with the 'newbie'." It took me all my strength not to hit her. Instead I walked to the back of the room and say down.

Erens POV

I walked to the canteen to find Mikasa waiting for me at a table. She waved me over.

"This is horrible. The first girl I was nice to, was mean to me."

"Oh. Well I made a friend. This is Armin. Armin this is Mikasa."

"Hi Mikasa. Sorry your day hasn't been so good. Maybe tomorrow will be better."

Four periods later

I am so glad this day is over I'm so tired. I arrived home, unlock the door and hop on the couch. I slowly fall into a light sleep.

30 minutes later.

I wake up to the sound of the door closing. I see Mikasa walk into the living room with a tissue and blood running out of her nose.

"Oh my god Mikasa what happened." She looked awful.

"Well you know that mean girl? Well I told her that I wanted to be friends, but when she said she wouldn't because I'm the 'newbie' I said 'well that's not far' and when on about how friends work, then she punched me in the face." She started crying. I sat her on the couch and comforted her.

"Try and stay away from her tomorrow. Stay with me when we all have the same classes and lunch. When I'm not there stay on the opposite side of the room. Oh and did you hit her back?"

"Yes." she mumbled.

(Sigh) she's crazy.

"Be good tomorrow, I don't want to see you hurt again."

Sorry this was a bit weird I didn't know what to do. I know it dragged along but I didn't know how to finish it. If you have any suggestions plz tell me. I will try to write the next chapter soon.
