Tidal Waves
There is something gentle lying behind her stronger disguise.
Something deeply hidden in her grey eyes.
As pencil meets paper, and blade meets skin.
Oh what a rush to feel this again.
I solemnly wonder why she hides.
She hides her soul with woven lies.
As the world gets colder, the sin sets in.
Her heart races as she remembers some familiar faces.
The boy that tore her world apart, and that one foreign guy who stole her heart.
All she can say is she tries.
She tries to fill this abyss inside.
Over and Over, again she'd cry.
For nothing in this world could escape the light, but our gentle soul craved the dark.
The comfort of night, or a brand new start.
In her darkness she new herself well.
The moon, they would call her. For she was surrounded by darkness, but shone light on others whom were lost.
Soon she would meet the sun. Blinding, and bright. He would be there, unseen, through the night.
One day the sun, didnt feel right.
He told the moon who had a similair plight.
Loneliness plagued the celestial souls,
And this shared pain gave them very simple goals.
The sun would wait, for the moment he could feel the moon. The perfect eclipse, in which for a split second, they may kiss.
There is now light behind the moons grey eyes
And gentle as tidal waves
She finally loved the right guy.
