This is a story on how my life became a disaster but I am getting too ahead of myself. Let introduce myself. My name is Luna. I have an older brother named Hunter, who tries his best to keep me from hanging out with boy's or going to parties. Basically, he keeps me from having a life. Then I have my mom who used to always want to be involved in everything until my dad died. She has always wanted to be the best mother my brother and I could possibly have. I don't like to talk about my dad that much but, for the sake of the story I'll do it. He died when I was about 11. It was devastating for me because we were very close and I was always with him. He used to tell me stories of when he was young and it would make me very happy. Ohhh! I forgot to say my brother and I have magic. We are literally complete opposites he uses light magic and I use dark magic so it is very different. Currently I am fifteen and I am going to a new school called Abstract Academy which is a prestigious Academy that teaches students how to use their magic power and control it. It also teaches normal classes because they think that "even though the children have magic power doesn't mean that they shouldn't learn what normal kids know" which I think is true but it is also annoying that I have to learn double the stuff in the same amount of time. Anyway, let me start the story.

"Rise and Shine sweetie" said my mom with such a bright smile that it might have blinded me

" Ok fine I'll get up. But, it is only because I am excited that I am rooming with Layla" I said gloomily. Layla is my best friend. She has long blond hair and dark brown eyes. She has a boyfriend named Jay and she talked to the principal so that we could room together.I didn't believe that it had worked out but, I finally gave in and believed her. Ever since I have been excited. Finally, we can talk about whatever we want without having to worry about our parents listening to our every word.

I finally got ready and left to the train. When I was on the train I thought what if this didn't work out? What if I am not living even in the same building as my best friend? She is the only person (other than my brother) that I know in this knew school. I don't wanna be lonely. Little did I know that this school year might have just destroyed my reputation.

When I got to the school I went to the front desk. They asked for my name and gave me a paper that showed the directions from the main building (which is the building I was in) to dormitory B. Then they told me my room number was 304. They also gave me one of the kets to the room. I walked along the sidewalk for a while until I got to Dormitory B. I went up a few floors until I saw a sign on the wall saying that the rooms 300-350 were to my left. I took a left and kept going straight until I saw a wooden door that had the number 304 on it. I spend my backpack an took out the key that the people at the front desk gave me. I opened the door. This dorm room was huge. I closed the door behind me and put my suit case next to the door. I mean it wasn't a mansion but it was huge for a dorm room. When I look to my left their is a big kitchen that has cupboards for days and and an amazing island. Then the kitchen leads to the living room which has a very nice couch that had a flat screen T.V. hanging on the wall in front of it. I kept going straight and then I saw a hallway on my right that led to a big room. It had two parallel bunk bed that perfectly fit into the wall. At that point I was pretty confused because why would their be two bunk beds if their is only two of us. I decided not to care. Their was also a few bean bags in the middle of the room that looked like they would be very comfortable to sit on. I went to the couch and tried to ask Layla were she was. The door opened and I couldn't believe my eyes.
