I was in the back of the police car,parked outside a familiar house. I saw my bestfriend annies mom come running out,speaking to the social worker.All I saw was her nod and instantly I was being brung out of the car with my small amount of luggage. As I looked back,the two cars sped off,entering the house the smell of pine.i heard the noise of feet padding across as I felt two arms pull me onto the floor as I felt someone chin bury themselves into my neck.I saw brown curly hair covering my shoulder.instantly I knew that it was Caleb. "oh my god I wasn't expecting you" Caleb screamed down my ear. Suddenly his mum Katie began shouting at him "Caleb Logan Leblanc go straight to your room young man".he suddenly let go,his eyes filled up as he began to cry,muttering sorrys as he ran to his room.Guilt flooded Katie's face as she stared at the stairs,I put my hand on her shoulder quietly whispering "I'll check on him". I quickly ran down to the bottom floor,stopping at his door.I heard the quiet sobs of the innocent boy,opening the door I saw a little ball under the quilt on the bed.i went in and quietly shut the door.Creeping up to the bed,I sat on the bed placing my head on what I thought was his back. I felt his sobs get quieter as I rubbed his head. After a while he lay down properly,I slide my way up,hugging him lightly.His reddened chocolate eyes and puppy dog expression.Nuzzling into his chest I cuddled him. "you didn't do anything,she just got protective" I whispered into his chest."I love you.." is all I heard as I felt his hand run down my back.
