"Peyton 'Lucky' Luiz. Your this guy?" Kat said as she looked through the pile of newspapers she had in her hand. "What happened?" As a child Lucky was submerged in a tank of water and chained down by his ankle. His mother died giving birth to him, and his father blamed him and turned to drugs. He sat in an easy chair and watched as Lucky struggled to escape. Every night, his father would release the water, still leaving Lucky in the tank. Every morning, the father would  fill it back up with water. One day, Lucky got sick of this and started praying. He wasn't sure to who, though. In his mind, he said: Why is this life so painful. If you can hear me, all i ask for, is luck. And with that thought, one bolt of the tank came loose and the entire thing collapsed. He escaped, and went on the run. He escaped to a small town, and was found and adopted by a couple who owned a funeral home. He went to school and saw this girl. He never worked up the courage to talk to her though. He got a job and was content with his life until he was 16. That's when there was a house fire in his neighborhood. It was the house that the girl lived in. She was brought into the funeral home and late one afternoon to found that the funeral home, the house he grew up in, was burnt to the ground. He saw on the news later that night that some sort of flame girl was on a rampage through the nearby city. He decided that he had no where else to go, so he moved there. He wandered into an alleyway, only to found two men arguing about an escape act. He introduced himself. "Hi. M-my name is L-lucky. I-I'm an escape artist." The two men stopped. "Really?!" And from that day forth, Lucky Luiz was world renown escape artist by day, extreme mafia member by night. "The Industry" As it came to be known, robbed casinos, banks, anything. Then one robbery, a partner of there's got too greedy and snagged a priceless jewel, which triggered the alarm. Lucky fled for his life never looking back. He decided to return to his father. He found him in a warehouse, the same one he was submerged in. "Are you a theif, father" His father laughed. "Define 'Thief'" "Did you ever steal anything?" "I may have stolen 3.2 billion dollars from the national bank of the Dominican Republic. "Holy S***." "I think the coppers are on to me." Just then, soldiers poured into the warehouse all looking to kill Lucky's father. It was a valiant fight, but Lucky's father was shot to the heart. Luckily, (ha ha) Lucky saw who shot him, and the man seemed to be wearing a Namba Prison uniform. He was determined to find his father's murderer. He held the Queen of Spain to gunpoint, which got him a free ticket to Namba Prison. "That's where you met me and Loli!" "No. Kat, you were the girl, weren't you?" "Okay, that does sound exactly like my backstory but how do you know?" "Did you go to Garfeild Elementary school?" "Crap."
