anyways, in case you didn't read the description of this book, i've based my story in 1967. 1967 is when interracial marriage was legalized in the united states, but these couples, obviously, still struggled. i'll be adding the disapproval of white people into my book, but no racial slurs or offensive language will be used (other than usual cursing). i, myself, am a white female who has never faced the struggles that poc or interracial couples had in this time, or now. i will be doing lots of research in order to get reactions and history right, but, please, do not hesitate to comment and leave criticism -- all is welcome, other than hate.
