Ch 4
Okay so this part is lame but... What ever... // I wake early. I didn't sleep well on the train but I suppose that makes sense. I walk over to the drawers and am pleased to see that someone must have come in at some point and replaced some of the dresses with jeans and shirts. I pull on the most worn pair of jeans I can find and a random top and wander down to the breakfast car. When I get there no one else is awake, but the side panel is covered with breakfast foods. I load my plate and begin eating. After about 20 minutes Ben walks into the room in his pajamas and his hair all sticking up on one side. I laugh and he looks at me bleary eyed. He peers in my glass. "Wussat?" he asks. "Hot coco. It's really good." I pour him a cup at pull out the chair next to me. "Sit down." He slumps into the chair and puts his head down. "Did you sleep at all last night?" I ask. He rests his head on my arm. "No. I was worried." "About what?" I ask. He shakes his head and shrugs. I push a croissant and the coco over to him and make him eat some. "Ben. You're going into the Hunger Games." He shakes his head. "But I'm not coming out." Before I can ask what he means the doors slide open and Tanya walks in. Ben tenses next to me but I grip his wrist. I don't know what's wrong with him but something definitely is. "We will arrive in the Capitol in 10 minutes. Benjamin, I suggest you make yourself presentable." Ben stands up and walks back to his room.
