Before his fight with Midoriya, Todoroki would only use his cold side. This would cause him to sometimes freeze the other half of his body. Look at the two photos.

When he would freeze over, the red dot where his eye is supposed to be appears. What is that dot? Also, note that the dot is only there when he freezes over. It doesn't happen anymore since he now uses both sides, but if anyone knows why please comment it. This has been bothering me for awhile.
