"Mommy where is my stuffed animal? I can't find him anywhere and I need to take him to the park with Avery!" Maddie told her mom while she was running around the house looking for her precious stuffed animal.
Maddie's house was huge she lived in California so of course she had a pool. She also had what seemed like millions of bedrooms and spare bedrooms. Some thought she lived like a princess.
The kitchen seemed like it was built for a king. There house was so big because Maddie had five other siblings, two dogs, three cats, and more pets that you have ever seen in someone's house. She basically lived in a castle.
" I don't know where your stuffed animal is Maddie but Avery and her mom are going to be here in five minutes, try under your bed." Maddie's mom yelled from the kitchen were she was cleaning dishes and putting the groceris away. Maddie left the house and went with Avery to the park.
"Come tag me!" Avery yelled to Maddie from the swingsets. "Icecream!" The girls yelled. "Can you get me a vanilla with sprinkles please? I need to go to the bathroom." Maddie asked Avery.
Avery agreed and the both went their seperate ways. "I'm back! Avery? Avery? Avery!?" Maddie started to panic as she was looking for her best friend.
Maddie looked around and saw no sign of her best friend.
Avery's mom was walking back from the bench when she was reading her book. "Wheres Avery Maddie? It's time to leave." Maddie replied. " I'm not sure she was right here, then she's gone." Then everyone started to panic looking for the missing girl.
Avery's mom who's name was May told Avery 'Sweetie, your house is five minutes away you need to walk there I need to look for my daughter". Maddie ran from the park all the way to her house, her shirt soaked in tears.
"Hello Maddie how was the park?" Maddie's mom asked Maddie before she saw her face, red and in tears. "What happened?!"
Maddie ran up to her mother and hugged her tightly as she sobbed.
Maddie replied to her mom's question " Avery is gone, my best friend is gone." She was crying her eyes out. Maddies mom 'Jessica' yelled from the living room, "Addison! Come help your sister!" Addison was Maddie's four-teen year old sister so she thought she knew what she talking to Maddie about, she thought Avery found new friends and be-trayed Maddie. Maddie knew what she was talking about and she just agreed she didn't want to keep crying.
Ten days later, there were posters all over town. They read " Help us find our daughter Avery. She is four years old, she has bright blue eyes and blond hair, she was last wearing a hello kitty shirt and shorts.
Her parents are Justine Jackson and Blake Jackson she has two sisters and she loved her toys. Call 100- 932-7919 if you find any news there will be a 1,000$ reward." There is a picture of Avery on the bottom of the poster she looks like this.
Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months. Still, no one found Avery. Her parents made the reward 5,000$ and yes more people looked, but no one found her. Maddie was devastated.
Avery's birthday was coming up, she was going to be five years old, her parents decorted her bedroom and threw a birthday party. People gave up, people said she died. Even though her parents didn't believe they were forced too, and eventually they did.
The end of Chapter one "Ice-cream" Note* my chapters may be short but there will be a lot of them.
