Chapter 1 ~Orientation day

Jungkook's pov//

As Jungkook wakes up for the first day of junior year he feels extremely tired since last night he stayed up until 4 in the morning playing overwatch with his best friend Taehyung. As he looks through his phone he realizes it 6:55 am, he pauses then begins to freak out since school starts at 7 am. He falls off his bed trying to get ready in 5 minutes. Even if he got ready in 5 minutes he would've still been late since it takes him another 5 minutes to drive to school. Jungkook has never been early to class his whole high school life, even if he wakes up early he gets distracted fairly easy and arrives late.

Anyways while Jungkook arrived at school he quickly ran to the auditorium for the classic orientation day. His homeroom class was already checking attendance and as Jungkook ran to where they were he bumped into a small person, he quickly apologizes not really looking at the person but then paused to look back. He saw a small boy frozen standing there. He was extremely confused but moved on when he heard his name being called "Jeon Jungkook! Jeon Jungkook!?" he ran to his place and called out "Here! I'm here I apologize for being late." The teacher let it slide since its only orientation day nothing extremely importantant. Even if Jungkook is always late to class he makes sure to be respectful to teachers since he is a well mannered person.

Jimin's pov//
Jimin was on his way walking to school taking his sweet time since he was early and school is just a couple of steps away from his place. He wanted to be early so he could have his peaceful walk and not be trampled by any late kids which is common. When he got to school he sat at the bleachers in the auditorium where he patiently waited for the teacher to come and take attendance.
Minutes passed and Mr.Kim came and checked off jimin since he was the only one there. Jimin realized he still had his backpack on and never went to put it into his locker. He wanted to ask Mr.Kim if he could go and put it away but Jimin was too nervous to ask since he rarely ever talks to his teachers. 10 minutes passed and it's now 7:05 am many people were now crowding around the auditorium and he figured he should ask now since he finally had the guts to. Jimin slowly steps down from the bleachers and taps on Mr.Kim's shoulder with his quiet and anxious tone he asks him and Mr.Kim just nods nicely and jimin walks away. As he's walking, he sees Jungkook in the distance running. He figured he was running late to catch attendance and felt himself to blush just by looking at him. Jungkoook has been crushing on Jimin since 3rd grade when they were friends but they slowly parted away when it hit freshman year. Jimin got sad thinking about it but continued to walk trying to brush it off. Jimin was not knowing Jungkook was running right towards his direction until he felt a rapid bump push him and hearing a quick "im so sorry". Jimin froze and knew who that voice belonged to, it was Jungkook . He almost felt blessed at this moment and he could feel that Jungkook looked back at him but didn't see his face. He went on with his day thinking about the crash that occurred with Junkook.

Wow hey this is my first time trying to write a jikook ff or any ff. Sorry if it's bad I'm not so good at this but it's summer and I wanted to try something new since I'm going to be home like 24/7 ha welp I hope you enjoyed this first chapter it's probably confusing rn but it'll hopefully clear up later on 😁 Don't forget to vote 💜
