Sleepover

♡Ivy's POV♡

I grab my bag and hurry down the hall and head outside where my dad is waiting for me outside in the car. I am at the front door looking back checking my mind and seeing if i got everything i need.
"My earphones" i whisper.
I head back to my room and gab my ear phones next to a picture of my bestfriends. I look at the picture a while...it had my best friend Clyde,Marci, and Ellie.
"Ill see you guys soon" I say in my head with a smile.
I head back towards the car and hop in. My dad was talking to my aunt about her shop she had.
We had a agreement that i can stay with her if i work for her store as a cashier.
We were on the freeway on our way to LA it was about an hour or two from San Diego to LA, so i decided to put my earphones on and listen to Logic while i fell asleep looking at the cars go by.
And hour has past and we arived in LA.
"Ivy wake up..we are here" my dad told me while taking one of my earphones off.
I look around and was so glad i was here but also felt this hate for this place where i used to call home.
I look down the block where kids were playing basketball and the look at the stop sign.

I remember we used to live a couple blocks away from my aunt and where the incident happened...
About 2 yrs ago my mother threw me out of her house when she found out i was gay...i shouldn't of told her.
My mom was a very religious typical mexican mother..thats self explanatory.
My dad and i moved away from her and i lived with him ever since. I really loved my dad he was always there for me and has done so much for me.

I turn back to the car and went to grab my bags because it was getting dark already.
The house my aunt lived in was a 2 bedroom small house in a ghetto area but that didn't bother me, it was my second home. My house in San Diego it is a nice 4 bedroom house with a pool and with 2 dogs so i won't be lonely.
I got all my bags in my room where my aunt had it set up then i went to my dad to say good bye to him. Im not gonna see him for like a month or more because he has big work business at the office and he said it might be good to be with my friends and have an actual job. He says it gives me responsibility and "a taste of the real world".
I hug my dad really tight and he whispers in my ear.
"If ANYTHING happens to you or anything just call me and ill be here as fast as i can"
I nod and say
"I love you be safe..oh and take car of my dogs for me pleaseee" i yell while he gets in the car. He smiles.
I see him take off and head inside and actaully check my room out it was a simple twin bed with a dresser and lamp. The actual light from the roof was broken. I saw my childhood drawings from when i used to draw in this room and put the on the wall. My aunt must put them up for me.
10pm
"Mija ven aca" my aunt tells me to sit on the couch with her and watch her novellas in her big dinosaur t.v. I sit on the rocking chair.
"Tomorrow...do you wanna work in the morning or the night" my aunt asks.
I think it threw...my friend Clyde will be up starting the bakery early and i can suprise him in the morning.
"Ill take the morning tia" i responded.
"Ok now ill put you for the morning..if you want to change ur schedule lwt me know i got you. Now go to bed now you have a big day ahead of you. I will wake you up at in the morning. Sweet dreams mija" she says.
I agree and headed to my room.
"Goodnight tia love you" i say
"Night mija love you too" she responds
