Before you read this I am so sorry it took so long. I have no excuse I'm just a lazy ass person who thought it was going to be easy to write chapters often.

(this means I'm talking cause I like breaking the fourth wall) >:) ;-)

'This means her thoughts'
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So after I packed up Ms. Carson took me to what was hopefully my new family for the rest of my childhood. I was scared to leave with people i didn't know but if Ms. Carson likes them then they can't be that bad right?
So me and Ms. Carson walked together to their  car. 'Their they were, my new family ready to take me away and make me one of their own'. They looked really happy too except my new brother. He didn't look like he had anything against me, but he didn't have the same excited expression my new parents had either. 'Maybe he just doesn't care, it sure looks that way'. He only said one word since we got here.
"Here let me get your suitcase ", said my now new father. " Thank you sir ",I said. He started to chuckle and says," now no need to be so proper. We are family now so that means you can call me father or if you are still not comfortable yet you can call me by my name, Sean." same goes for me to sweetie", said my new mother. I nodded to show them that I understood. So after all that was done me and the family started to head to the car to finally go home with me as a new addition to the family.
My new dad held the car door for me and just when I was going to go in the car I looked back to Mrs. Carson one final time. She had tears in her eyes but a smile on her lips. I remember when all those other kids used to tease me about never finding a home because of how weird they thought I was. Mrs. Carson always conforted me and told me that I would prove them wrong someday. Whelp today is that day, the day I told myself might never come is here.
My eyes started to water as well but even so I put on a smile anyway and ran to her. I hugged her with every bit of strength I had in my body and she did the same. When we broke the hug and I took out a small journal out of my pocket and gave it to her. Through the years I always kept only the best work that took me hours to do at a time in that journal. It had all my best poems and drawings in it. I never showed it to anyone, not even Mrs. Carson. She knew how special it was to me and also knew that I never let anyone touch it.
To my surprise she also gave me something. It was her locket that her grandmother gave her. She told me that she's had and cherished it ever since she was a kid and always thought of it as a good luck charm. It might not look that valuable to others and it may not even be worth much but she gave it value and to her no amount of money is worth her locket.
We both said no words but I think that was for the best
We both said no words but I think that was for the best. I put on the locket and she put away the journal in her pocket. ( hey that rhymes )We looked at eachother one last time before I started running to the car. My new father closed it and went to the drivers seat. He started the car and started driving off. I rolled down my window and saw her waving at me. Before I got too far i yelled with all my might," THANK YOU MS. CARSON FOR EVERYTHING". That just made her smile even more. I kept my sight on her until I couldn't see her anymore. Then I turned around and looked at my new family. I smiled.
