Eda's POV
So, we've been flying for two hours according to Glier, upon seeing the sun starts to rise. She told Quartz to fly the direction of the infected waters and apparently Elsa and Delta told Arc, Damien and Urie to wait for our arrival there.
And most importantly, my butt was starting to hurt from the uneven texture and the constant wing muscles moving on Quartz back... you know what, forget I said that.
I grumbled, "How much farther?"
Quartz squawked the answer. I understood nothing but didn't ask, I'm not going to understand the reply either. The rest seemed just as puzzled.
Glier said, "So, Sireda said that we should be going west, and... wait, we are currently going south?" She suddenly said loudly, startling Elsa from her sleep.
"Jeez, whatup with the screamin'?"
"Something's wrong," Glier whispered, "Don't ask any questions."
I knew what was going on in an instant, I gasped, "We need to jump now."
Elsa backed up a bit, "Wait..."
Glier grabbed Delta's hand who was just confused and unwary of the attack and I lunged for Elsa's. We jumped off the dinosaur that wasn't Quartz.
Glier yelled, "ABANDON BIRD!!!"
Fitting, just absolutely fitting for this situation, she just had to yell because of the thrill (it happens).
Not-Quartz-Big-Chicken saw us jump and immediately dived towards us, it's intentions were showing, opening its beak to snap to us as we are free-falling five hundred feet from the air and into the water below. Shrieking in the process of trying to get supper, it folded its wings to the max and dived at high speed, I was totally convinced it will have no problem getting to us but thankfully and unfortunately...
We crashed into the water, all of us had the correct diving position so non of us was in too much pain. I couldn't say the same for Not-Quartz. It dived like an eagle diving into the water to catch fish. Get the picture? Good, now imagine the four of us in the place of the fish. Yeah we were terrified.
Delta and I had swimming lessons so it wasn't hard for us to swim at certain speeds. Elsa and Glier on the other hand... had a few problems...
Not-Quartz resurfaced majestically and flew un-majestically in our direction at high speed.
Now, even though we had covered a distance away from it, surely other dinosaurs would've given up and gone off to find much easier and larger prey than four 5'5 girls with issues but that thing was targeting us like the Indoraptor targets the laser pointer!
Delta summoned clumps of rocks and seabed contents from the ocean, she flung them towards the Quetzalcoatlus. All of them was a direct hit, causing it to stagger but didn't fall into the ocean. She looked at us for a moment, "You all better find a way because I can't be doing this forever."
Out of desperation, Elsa yelled for Sireda, "Hello? Robot, we're in a bit of a situation here, it's a life or death situation! Yeah, we need help!"
"One moment, Creators..."
"WE DON'T HAVE HALF A MOMENT!" I yelled, "BIG CHICKEN COMING OUR WAY AND IT WANTS FOOD!"
"One. Moment. Do. You. Not. Understand?"
We were in shock but there's no time to argue, we swam. Thankfully we reached land that is nearby enough and the sea in the zone was controlled by Elsa so it wasn't rough and it was pushing us in the direction we wanted it to go. On the shore, Elsa and Glier was panting and out of breath but managed to scream a word at me.
"Gun!"
What, what stun?
Then I remembered, I had a stun gun! I reached for it and pulled out the gun... or whatever that is, it definitely is not a stun gun. It looks more like a flamethrower...
I fidgeted it around, the Quetzalcoatlus snapped out of its stupor and was coming closer, squawking in annoyance. Obviously it was still dizzy and confused from all the rock throwing, probably even a migraine or a concussion for the poor thing, it swayed unsteadily as it flew but it didn't slow down.
Glier held out her arms at the direction of the Quetzalcoatlus. It squawked and reduced the flight to a hover.
Glier said through gritted teeth, "Eda, hurry up, I can't stop air movement for that long."
I fumbled with the flamethrower, no trigger, no fuel tank, having almost nothing a functional flamethrower has. But, there was a mouthpiece, shaped like a flute.
Elsa exclaimed, "Blow into it!"
"That's exactly what I wanted to do, hold on..." I blew with all my might into the mouthpiece, I felt a small amount of flames going from my throat into the flamethrower and it spouted out of the nozzle but not in the form of my pathetic attempt of a flame, instead it came out in the amount of a dragon's fire breath.
The fire went straight towards the hovering Quetzalcoatlus. Glier dropped the restrain air movement spells just in time for the dinosaur to get a face full of fire. It shrieked and did a 180 away from here.
We sat tiredly on the beach, phone battery stated it was 9 in the morning. Every one was silent and spent after using their powers to the max. I'm not tired, just had a really dry throat.
I asked to break the silence, "So, we need to talk about Sireda's recent behaviour... Except for just now, has any of you experience this before?"
Glier and Elsa shook their heads except for Delta.
She nodded, "Yeah actually I did. In my last mission to the alternate world of Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, she sorta glitched into a male growling voice for a few seconds like those singers of heavy metal bands."
"That's exactly the problem I can't figure out, see this thing happened recently-"
Delta disappeared right before us, like... disappeared!
Glier stared at the floor where Delta was sitting in shock, Elsa had got to her feet immediately and taken a fighting stance. I was frozen, what just happened?
Elsa then started to shimmer, she then disappeared. Glier was next with not much than a shrug, unfazed with the suddenness of events.
I'm next obviously, I'm not in much of a shock, I knew this will happen eventually with all the faults in Sireda's system. She will not be able to teleport us to two places in two days.
As I start to disappear, only one thought came to my head, Jeez those dinos must thought we have been unfortunately eaten by a mosasaurs.
Count this mission as a fail, we are unable to depollute the environment.
I saw white, white bright light. I must be teleported to somewhere random, hopefully the others didn't end up in... a bad place. I thought.
I saw an end to the light tunnel I'm in and it seemed like my destination was in front of me. Before I flew into the black hole (literally) I heard a voice, it's not loud, it's not really clear either. I can make out "Not ready... find... see... you... something something... soon."
That was unnerving even for a horror game player like me and I've been through a lot.
I opened my eyes in the new world, glanced around and realised...
I'm in the body of my character... and my character is... I'm in... I'm with...
Oh God, this is so wrong, we messed up big time!
