I remembered everything. Down to the last detail.
I wanted to die. Or to run off to another planet and live my life with the aliens. Or go to the jungle and live like tarzan.
Ok, calm down. It's not a big deal. You only told your entire life's story to someone. It's not something to be worried about at all, right? Right.
"Elliot, wake up or you are going to be late!", my mom said removing the blanket off of me only to find me awake and looking up at her. There was utter silence for a moment before she dropped the blanket and screamed making my head hurt a lot more than before.
"Ow, mom. Why are you screaming so early in the morning? Do I look that bad?", I asked sitting up and pouring muself a glass of water from the jug that I kept on the table because I was too lazy to go downstairs.
"Who are you? And what did you do to my daughter!? There's no way she'd be awake by herself in the morning. You're a witch, aren't you?"
I glared at her... internally of course.
"No, I am not a witch. I just have a hangove-" shit. "I hung over at Olivia's house yesterday and she talks a lot so I have a headache." I said quickly changing my words to save my life. Thanfully, my mother didn't notice.
"Well then, take some medicine and get ready for school and hurry up.", she said and left.
My mom's the best, isn't she? (Note the sarcasm)
I got up begrudgingly and rubbed my eyes. I dragged myself to the bathroom, while nearly falling two times and got ready.
I walked to school again and after reaching my class, I sat down on the seat next to the window. This was my seat forever and no one dared to sit here because they all feared me or maybe it was because this was the oldest desk and chair and no one wanted them. Yeah, maybe it's the latter one but I will accept the former in my head. How sad is it that people don't appreciate the simple things anymore.
I yawned and glared at everyone that dared to lock eyes with me. What, I can't be moody at times? I am having a bad day, okay!?
I glared at Miss Brooklyn as she walked into class and she glared back at me making me lower my eyes and shrink in my seat.
"Class, we have a new student joining us today", Miss Brooklyn announced while some kids groaned at the thought of having a new student in class while the others smirked that they had found a new victim to prey on. I was among the few people that groaned but my reason to groan wasn't because of the new student. It was because of the massive headache I felt.
I laid my head on the desk as Miss Brooklyn continued, "Please welcome Xavier Meyers" Everyone gasped at his last name and the girls started fangirling and I think I heard someone whistle as well. Apparently, the Meyers family was famous for something. I don't remember what it was famous for and neither do I care. The only thing I care about is to get some aspirin.
I kept my head on the desk as Xavier was told to sit somewhere. I felt someone sit on the seat beside me and this time I did look up at him only to meet those beautiful green eyes with my even more beautiful brown ones.
It was like Deja vu as I stared at him while he smirked at me. "Nice to meet you... again.", he said and that's when my eyes rolled to the back of my head and I found myself falling backwards and losing consciousness.
