Jake: hey this is Jake from history class.

Emily: hey! WHATS UP? :)

Emily always tried to not show people her weak side.

Jake: I was wanting to know if you wanted to go out to eat tomorrow with me.

what Emily didn't want to tell jake that she was dying in the hospital.

Emily: uh-uh, I am in the hospital I have the flu.... really bad but rain check??

But Jake Knew that Emily was fighting for her life but that just made him want her more.

Jake: of course! hope you feel better soon!

but Emily knew she wouldn't.

soon there was a knock on the hospital door, she thought it was going to be a doctor, but it wasn't.... it was the love of her life- it was jake.

Jake walked in with a bag of Chinese food and a card.

Emily cried at the scene putting her hands above her eyes cupping her nose.

Jake was still smiling looking at the love of his life.

While she smiled crying looking at the love of her life

Jake sat down at the arm chair right next to the hospital bed Emily was sitting on.

Jake handed Emily the card.

when she opened it she read the card saying

dear Emily Faye Matthew the love of my life since 8th grade I want you to know I know about how you have cancer, since you have been gone from school for about a month, 2 weeks ago I stopped by you're house to find your mother and father open the door about to go to the hospital they explained everything. I wrote this letter because I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I want to wake up every morning with you beside me. I want to have children with you . In math I sit behind you, I watch you when you are doing your homework you chew nervously on you're pencil and next thing you know you get a A on your homework. I have loved you and I will always love you Emily. Your my life my oxygen without you I would be nothing.

-Emily Matheww I love you.

he soon pulled out a light blue small box and got on his knee.

he opened the box and inside the box there was a silver string connected with a silver circular amulet

on the amulet there is wording imprinted saying 'all warriors have battle scars' with cancer symbol shaped as a heart.

"Emily Matheww I love you"

" Jake Grey love you too"

and with that they both kissed making there mouths move in sync.

The next morning Emily Matheww died.
