Having a fan page, is so fun! But in the long run, doing the same thing over and over, can get tiring. And since we all also have a life beyond our page, it can suddenly feel as a chore to post.

Maybe you don't have time. You have homework to do. You need to see your friends. Oh, and your family.

Girl, no! These are just excuses. Spending what could be 5 or less minutes of your life every day on posting, is something we all can do.

But it's okay for now, since you first off need to get used to posting. Starting off, it'll be so fun. But if you're doing it every day, it happens that you'll get tired of it.

So buckle up! Here we present you three points, that you have to remember in order to not feel overwhelmed!

Because, let's be real. Writing the sorry-I-didn't-post-because... - is one of the worst feelings to present to your audience.

• Being consistent
First off we need you to get in to a habit. Being consistent.

"wHaT iS tHaT sUPpOseD tO mEaN?", you may ask. Well, as we talked in some of the previous chapters, you need to have a schedule.

UNLESS : you post randomly, and that's your brand. Then skip this part 🤙🏼 you go girl!

So, make a schedule, and let time decide if it's THE schedule. Sometimes we make a schedule and find out, that it totally doesn't work out.

Things to consider when making a schedule:
- What days do I post?
- When do I post?
- How much do I post?
- What do I post?

Then, when you find THE schedule, you turn it into a habit. For some it happens naturally, but if not for you, set reminders!

So, the second you see the reminder, post! Don't ever skip an upload.

No, we need you to get into this habit! And when you finally start to remember to do it by yourself, you start doing it naturally.
Congrats, now you've got it to be a habit!

Having a schedule just shows your followers that you are serious, and that you can maintain a very simple uploading schedule.

TIP : pre-make posts! This way you don't have to worry about making something every day. You just have to post it and that's it. This is a great way if you feel overwhelmed or stressed. Pre-make and chill!

TIP : partner up! If you're alone with your own fan page, gather a bestie and do it together. Doing things alone can get very hard, that's why we recommend having company. This way you motivate each other, and have fun!

• Patience
How do I put this.
Please.. Be.. Patient..

When having a fan page, your patience gets put on trial. I can assure you that! And if you're very impatient, then girl, we have some work to do.

We people tend to lack patience when we don't see immediate change or growth. And trust me, this'll happen at least a few times when being a fan page owner.

This is where you need to convince yourself, that it's okay, for things to have a slow process. People just haven't discovered your page yet, and that can take time.

Think about this, if someone really is determined, they would never give up.

So if being stubborn is a talent of yours, then you're in luck! You'll have to push through at times where it might get hard.

But if you find yourself time after time giving up, then having a page might not be something for you right now. And that can be so hard to accept.

And there's nothing wrong in waiting. Because, torturing yourself when things don't work out, is worse than giving it time.

We here believe, that everything happens for a reason. So if things don't work out, maybe there'll be a another time for your fan page. Just stay patient.

So, are you ready to take on a journey and be stubborn and patient? Or do you have to wait?
Both decisions are good decisions, it's just up to you ;)

• Accept
Patience, means also in other words, to wait. You're patiently waiting for the numbers to grow, you are patiently waiting for responses on your post.

But besides being patient, accept is important too. When the numbers seem to stay the same, accept it.

Maybe you feel a little unhappy with your content. Well, we sometimes need to make ugly content, for ourselves to grow and get better, accept it.

You haven't gotten noticed yet, and here you're patiently waiting whilst everyone else gets noticed, accept it.

SIDE NOTE : it took a whole year before we got noticed by the Why Don't We boys.
A 👏🏼 whole 👏🏼 year!

Pssst.. and it was worth it!

So to finish this long chapter off, be consistent, patient, stubborn and accepting. You'll need it on your journey, if the journey is for you. Accept it, if it's not <3
