"Yeah, I had a dream about this..." Alisa whispered.

I nodded. "So did I."

Victor jumped up, Alisa and I right behind him.

We snuck down the hall and stopped outside the kitchen door.

Nothing.

Nothing at all.

Victor looked towards the living room, whispering, "In there."

I went first.

I walked in, seeing a figure by the window. Outside...?

Alisa looked confused. Victor looked startled. And I? I probably looked like a mix of scared, confused, and surprised.

Victor whispered something, too quiet for me or even Alisa to hear.

~-Victor's POV-~

"No, not tonight, please not tonight," I whispered, too quiet for them to hear, I hope.

I stared at Ria.

She stared back.

Who is Ria, you might ask? Oh, she's just some freaking demon who follows me everywhere and scares everyone.

I continued to stare at her, her faded yellow eyes glaring. Not at me. Not at Luke. Not at Alisa.

But... behind us.

I didn't want to turn around. Ria wouldn't hurt us, I knew that. She just scares people sometimes. Honestly, she's saved my life more times then I can count.

I turned, followed by Alisa and Luke.

"Veronica!" I said, staring at the shadow behind us-Veronica.

"Yes?" She said.

Luke's eyes widened. "Oh uh, sorry Victor. I don't really want to hang out with your ghost friends! Bye!"

"Hey! Come on!" Alisa grabbed Luke. "We're not leaving Victor."

Just my luck. First my house burns down, and now my demons are coming back. Hooray.

"What? Not enjoyed our little reunion, Victor?" Veronica snarled.

"No, not really."

Ria growled, "Veronica, leave."

"Why? You're a demon too! And why don't you leave?"

Flames shot up in my hand. "You know what happened, don't play dumb. Ria didn't cause the fire. You did."

It was clear now. Veronica did it. She had to.

"Oh, me? You've got the wrong demon. Just ask Ria!"

"Um, I saw you light the fire." Ria rolled her eyes.

Finally, she was visible. She had a pastel blue dress, short brown hair, and yellow eyes. She was pretty tall, even taller than Kota.

Veronica was visible, too. She had long blonde hair, a simple white shirt and jeans, and white eyes. She was short, but taller than me.

Why does with always happen at the wrong time?
