Lion-o and his True love

Chapter 23 a recipe for diaster

The cat were camping out. Mum-Ra summoned the ancient spirits of evil to turn him into the Sycorax an ancient demon.

"We are two days out to dog city." Panthro said.

"The sooner we meet up with Wilykit, and Wilykat the sooner we can look for the stone," Tygra said.

"Where's Lion-o and Pumyra?" Cheetara asked.

"He invited her to go get firewood." Panthro said.

"True if he's going to impress her all he's going to do is embarrass himself." Tygra said.

"Pumyra will love Lion-o even if he embarrasses himself." Cheetara said.

Pumyra helped a baby winged frog.

"You have a very kind heart Pumyra." Lion-o said.

"Thanks but we should be looking for firewood." Pumyra said.

He gave her a flower. "It's pretty Lion-o," Pumyra said and sniffed it. It sprayed a liquid on her.

"Yikes," Lion-o said. "Are you okay?" he asked. 

"I think so but I think I'm allergic, and my face is swelling is bad?' Pumyra asked.

"Barely noticeable." Lion-o said nervously.

They went back to camp. Tygra, Cheetara and Panthro wanted to know what happened and Pumyra explained.

"Boy you make some mistakes Lion-o but this is big one." Tygra said snickering.

"It's not funny," Lion-o said.

Meanwhile a Wolo named Ponzi got ran out of town. His wagon broke down. So the Thundercats helped him.  

Ponzi looked shocked at Pumyra's swollen face. "I never seen a head that big." Ponzi said.

"LION-O!" Pumyra said.

Ponzi gave Lion-o some elixir.

Pumyra was pretty angry at Lion-o. "Pumyra I didn't for it to happen," Lion-o said.

"I'm not just mad about that and the fact you lied about it." Pumyra said.

"Ooh you are in hot water." Tygra said.

"Cut it out." Lion-o said.

Later Mum-Ra attacked. Nothing could stop him but the Elixir. "We need to get more of it." Tygra said.  

They found Ponzi who crashed and the Elixirs were destroyed. So they agreed to help him make more.

So they went to find the Cara-Cara tree.

Pumyra was still mad at Lion-o. She wanted him to apologize. But Lion-o tried a different approach a love potion although Tygra drank it instead and it affected him.

 Lion-o didn't know what to do.

When they made to the Cara-Cara tree they let Tygra admire the nature and flowers while they gathered the leaves.

Afterwards Ponzi and Lion-o were talking.

"She's still mad at me." Lion-o said.

"Have you thought about apologizing?" Ponzi asked.

Lion-o saw what Lucy was doing. "No," Lion-o said.

"Well then maybe you should try." Ponzi said.

"No, not that I mean no!" Lion-o said pointing.

Ponzi saw Lucy and scolded her and she climbed up the tree.

Mum-Ra attacked Pumyra and Lion-o saved her. "Thanks Lion-o," Pumyra said. "That's the Lion-o I know and love." she said. Then kissed his cheek.

Lucy now a butterfly saved the day.

They thanked Ponzi who wished them luck.

Lion-o turned to Pumyra. "Pumyra I'm sorry, about the flower and lying I just didn't wanna hurt your feelings." Lion-o said.

"Well you lied but it was because you were trying to be nice." Pumyra said.

Lion-o showed her one of the yellow flowers that Tygra was looking at. Pumyra smiled and smelled it and put it in her hair.

Tygra came up.

"How are you feeling?" Lion-o asked.

"Like you look." Tygra answered.

Now it was time to head back to dog city.
