"Cherry come come back here right now!"

Uncle Adam yelled, two fingers already massaging the side of his head. Cherry continued running, almost slipping due to the slippery ground. It stopped raining, but the ground was still pretty wet- not that Cherry cared anyway.

"Cherilee Maxe! What did I fucking say!"

Uncle Adam almost screams. Cherry stopped running once she heard her uncle say her name. Let me rephrase that; her real name. Cherry did not turn around and walk back, no. She simply sat down where she was and placed her face in her hands, sobbing quietly. Cherry hadn't cried that much in a day, only once before, in dark times.

Uncle Adam jogged over to where Cherry was and tried encouraging her to sit somewhere else because it was beginning to rain again. Cherry didn't budge and Uncle Adam sighed and sat down beside her because he knew he wouldn't be able to get her to move.

     "Cherry.."

Uncle Adam whispered, rubbing her back gently. She turned away from him.

"You have to hear the whole story before you run away like that."

He said slowly, trying to be careful of what he said or else Cherry would just shut him out like she always did when she was facing her dark times. Cherry sniffed and removed her hands from her face.

"Fine whatever, but you don't fucking ever say that name ever again. If you do I will seriously suici-"

Uncle Adam interrupted her with a cough.

"Let's get back into the tour bus."

When they arrived in the tour bus with drenched pants, Calum quickly offered them clean ones. When the two were finished getting changed, they entered the living room part of the tour bus and found Luke crying on the edge of the sofa with Michael awkwardly trying to soothe him. (and he sucked at it because Luke was hiccuping like crazy and instead of getting him a glass of water, he was awkwardly patting Luke's back- which Luke secretly hated)

Cherry rolled her eyes and headed for the door once she spotted Luke but Calum grabbed her elbow gently and asked her politely to take a seat and granted, she did. (only because she couldn't say no to the face Calum was making) Everything was quiet except for Cherry's small sniffs and Luke's hiccups. (Michael still hasn't found the decency to get him a glass of water)

Uncle Adam took a long breath and a deep sigh and closed his eyes.

"Cherry, do you remember when your mother was sick?"

She shut her eyes tightly and nodded, letting a few tears escape her eyes. Uncle Adam glanced at Luke and a handful of tears slid down his cheeks as well. It killed him to see such young people be so stressed out. When he was a teen, he was partying and hooking up with girls. He wasn't like this, going through a shitload of disasters one after the other.

"Okay. Do you remember that night when your mother was sick in the hospital? And I came in with a little boy about your age? Maybe younger?"

Cherry nodded slowly, taking in the painful memories when her eyes widened in Luke's direction in almost a split second, realizing what Uncle Adam was trying to say. Luke was no longer crying, but his face was tear stained and he was picking on the loose strings of his tattered up sweater. Cherry nodded to Uncle Adam, motioning him to carry on with the story.

"Your father told you that he was your cousin, because that is what he was told. On the other hand, Luke's father knew about you, and about your father. When Luke's father came in the hospital room to pick Luke up, he didn't expect you to be there, or your father, and-"

Luke stood up abruptly and told Uncle Adam to stop. He didn't need to hear the rest of the story because he was there when it happened. Hell, everything had happened in front of his own two innocent blue eyes. If Uncle Adam continued with the story, everything Luke was trying to forget would come rushing back like a fucking broken dam- which he didn't want to happen. Cherry as well, knew the story, but that is what she was told. She was not there when everything happened. Which is a good thing I guess.

Uncle Adam looked down at his watch and stood up quickly, explaining that Cherry had to stay over with the boys because he didn't want her at home in her most vulnerable stage while he would be on tour. So it was basically like a sleepover.. for more than just one night. You could call it a-month-lasting-sleepover.

     Cherry shook her head rapidly.

"It's only a month! You can't come for the first month. I tried convincing management, but they wouldn't let me. For the rest of the tour I promise you can come. I promise Cherry. Please, behave."

Cherry rolled her eyes and turned away from her uncle.Uncle Adam made his way to Luke and whispered something in his ear. Luke nodded. He then began walking towards the door but Cherry let out a sob and dashed towards Uncle Adam and he turned around and engulfed her in a huge hug.

"A month only, okay? I'll wait for you. I'll count the days. You better be knocking on that door in four weeks."

A few tears escaped from Uncle Adam's eyes and he nodded.

     "I pinky promise."

     "With a Cherry on top?"

     Uncle Adam laughed hoarsely.

     "With a Cherry on top."
