Thor sat in his new room, thinking back on the events that had just transpired. They had done the right thing, he knew. But he would still miss his home. But Asgard isn't a place, it's a people. And his people were safe. That is all that mattered. Then, he began thinking about his brother. He had actually come to see him earlier in the day. And Thor had told Loki he would hug him, but he never had. He looked at the door, half wishing Loki would walk through it. But after a few minutes of staring at an empty doorway, he decided it would be best to just lay down and try to sleep.

Not long after he laid down, there was a knock on the door. Loki didn't bother to wait for a response and just walked right in. Thor looked at him and sat up, a small smile appearing on his face.

"Brother, you know it's customary to wait for a response after you knock." He said teasingly, not really caring that he walked in without waiting.

Loki simply shrugged. "At least I knocked at all." He smirked slightly, letting his mind wander back to the many times he had walked into Thor's room without a knock.

Thor chuckled and got up, walking over to him and wrapping his arms around his brother tightly. "I'm glad you're okay. I know I talk shit a lot, but I don't know what I would do if I lost you."

Loki was shocked at first, not expecting this from his brother. Loki was cruel to him for so long yet he still loved him? Thor took Loki's arms and wrapped them around him, making him return the hug like one would a child, before wrapping his own arms back around his brother. Loki smiled at the action and hugged his brother tightly. He laid his head on Thor's shoulder and took a deep relaxing breath.

"I love you, brother."

"I love you too."
