Everyone was standing beside a pod to see Sam Holt leave. "We're going to miss you, sir," Shiro told him. Sam responded, "Ah, you guys seem to be fine without me. Your mission is here. Mine is on Earth." "As soon as you get back to Earth, inform the Galaxy Garrison what's going on to start working on upgrading our planetary defenses," Olivia said, she handed him a packet of papers and her dad's phone number to contact to make the plan possible. Being in a very wealthy family whole of models, developers, and CEO could be handy. Everyone looked at Shiro. "Tell Iverson, the next time I see him, I'm going to kick his butt for strapping me to that table," said Shiro, holding a fist. Sam Holt chuckled, "I'll be sure to tell him that." Hunk walked over to him to give him a device. "Hey, I had everyone record some messages for our families. Well maybe not everyone...Olivia...I'm looking at you," Hunk informed, "Uh, a little heads up, I got teary in mine, so...that's Mom's eyes only." "Of course," Sam said, taking the device and Hunk got closer to Lance. "You don't wanna see Lance's, either, since it's probably just a love message to Jenny Shaybon or the other Jenny," teased Hunk, "What was her name again?" "Shut up, Hunk!" "Okay, I was just joking around. Jeez. Hey, are you okay, dude?" Hunk told his best friend. "I'm fine. It's just... Once I started thinking about going back to Earth, I...I started missing my mom an my brother Marco and my brother Luis and my sister Veronica," Lance began to get all emotional by the way his voice cracked, "and my grandma and..." "Um, are you crying?" asked Hunk, everyone looking at his back. "No!" Lance sniffles, "No, I just...I just got space dust in my eyes. It's very dusty in here." "I guess this is it," Sam told his son and daughter, their smiles disappeared. "I wish I could go with you. I'd love to help build Earth's first galactic defense system," Matt stated. Sam worried, "I'm worried we won't have enough time and resources to make a dent before we need it." "A wise man told me, 'If you get worried about what could go wrong, you might miss your chance to do something great.'" Pidge gave advised. "Sound like a wise man indeed," Sam cheered up, giving a kind soft smile, "Matt, you be careful on the front lines. And, Pidge, keep an eye on your brother for me." "You got it, Dad," Pidge told him. Her father began to whimper before he hugged his children. "I love you both so much," He told them, the hugged him back. Pidge said, "We love you too, Dad." Coran and Hunk hugged Lance with tears in the corner of their eyes. "There is a lot of space dust in here," Hunk informed. Coran wailed, "It's filthy!"

After Sam Holt flew the pod through a wormhole Olivia ran to get changed into her armor. "I'm going to be late!" She told herself, hopping on one foot to get the boots on. She ran down the hall to get to a pod. "Are you going back to Earth as well?" Coran asked. "I was asked by Kolivan to go on a mission with Keith. Watching Mr. Holt go off took longer than I calculated," Olivia quickly said, running off.

~Time Skip~

"The last time I was here was when Keith was doing that trial..." Olivia remembered, she deepened her voice, "'Knowledge or death'!" Walking into the base with two members escorting her. As she walked towards the room with Kolivan and Keith in it she could here their conversation. Olivia already knew of the details and the mission when Kolivan asked her to go along. "Keith, this is of the utmost importance. If either faction acquired this weapon, it could tip the balance of power in their favor," Kolivan stated, looking down at him, "So you cannot allow your feelings to cloud your judgement." "I wouldn't-" Keith denied. "You have in the past," Kolivan told him, "That's why asked someone to go along with you to ensure the success of the mission." The two looked to the door. "The mission is the only thing that matters. Is what he's trying to say," Olivia said, emerging from the darkness, "It's been awhile hasn't it, Keith." "Olivia," Keith said, she walked over to the two. "Emotions are a luxury we cannot afford. This is the operative you'll be contacting. Her name is Krolia," Kolivan informed, a picture of a Galra appeared and Olivia knew exactly she looked like a female Keith.
