My alarm clock blares in my ears as I get up and shut it off, and I have an oddly good feeling about today in college. "Maybe today will be ok." Since I found out I had depression, I only think of the bad side in things, but I feel that today will be awesome. So, I get up and walk to the bathroom in your dorm and get ready, Take a shower, brush my teeth, wash my face, etc. Then I hear a knock at my door. You think 'who could that be at 6 in the morning?' I open the door to see an unfamiliar face, but oddly i feel connected and safe around him. He seems so familiar, but why? And he pulls you out of your thoughts when he grabs your arm and waves his hand in front of your eyes. "helloooo? you ok there?" and i'm close to screaming but i stop myself and reply, "y-yeah, I'm ok. Who are you?" you said with a suspicious look in your eye. "um. I'm karma... I'm new here. Do you know where the dorm reception is?" karma said, looking confused but violent at the same time, and that look in his eye made me scared a little. "uhm... down the hall turn left and its the first door to your right." I said, pointing down the hall to where i was referring to.
"Ok. Thank you...uh--" i cut him off giving him my name, trying to be nice. "Sky. my name is Sky." i said, trying not to sound too pushy to get him away from me. he looks at me with that violent and scary stare, and to make it worse he's staring me right in the eyes. i think 'why is he looking at me like that? its a little scary...' then he said, as if reading my mind, "Don't be scared... im not going to hurt you" and i just stare at him in shock... and i somehow get myself to speak up, blinking rapidly, "Did you just..?---" the bell interrupts me, and i realise that I'm still in my towels. "SHOOT! I GOTTA GO GET READY! IM LATE!" i slam the door and get dressed.
---after all your classes---
I just go straight back to my dorm, realising how many friends i have. I have none other than Ruby and Acacia and i havent seen them since elementary, and not realising it, i run straight into someone who looks SUPER-scary and sketchy "GAHH!---sorry, omg I'm so sorry..." so i quickly grab some of my books and he helps me pick them up, then when i stand up straight with all my books in hand, he stares down at me as if I'm some type of mouse he caught in a mouse-trap. "It's ok" he said, with a creepy smile, just like that karma guy. I think 'why do i keep running into all these lunatics...?' i just walk away and as i do, he just stares at me. And then i realise he was one of my foster brothers and i turn around to look for him but He's gone. Like he disappeared into thin air. So i walk to my locker and put my books in my locker and grab my bag and go to the park, like i always do after school. Then, i hear rustling in the bushes behind the swing I'm sitting on, and i turn around to look and it just goes quiet, so i turn back around and see Karma look at me with that creepy smile. I think 'What is he doing here? did he follow me...?' and in a blink of an eye im knocked out cold by someone standing behind me.
----when I wake up---
My vision is all blurry. What happened? one second i was in the park like usual, and then... and then i see karma... and... and someone knocked me out from behind...?!? WHAT THE HECK!! My vision goes back to normal but i feel weak... super weak... and then i look around and try to move but i cant.. so i look down and I'm tied to a chair, and i hear an unfamiliar voice come out from the corner. "You're awake." but i don't say anything, i don't know whether it was from fear, or from being so tired, but i knew that i was kidnapped. I just look at the guy in confusion. "don't you have any questions?" he said, completely ignoring the whole gang of people surrounding me. i say "I....where.... where am i?" he just looks at me and laughs with that cruel laugh. "well, girl, you don't need to know. You will be staying here for a while. If you cooperate ill let you walk around, not tied to a chair,but if you don't...." he walks toward me with that devilish smile and bangs on the arms of the chair, and I flinch. "We'll see what the boys have in store for you." My eyes go wide as saucers, thinking about all the bad things people can do... i think 'WHAT DID I DO?!?! WHY DO THEY WANT ME!!?!? I DON'T GET IT!!!' tears well up in my eyes, and a cute guy walks up to me and talks. "Mmmm.... poor girl... L you don't have to be so mean to her! Look, you made her cry." he wipes the tears from my eyes and said "Don't be afraid. were not going to hurt you if you cooperate." he just looks me in the eye with those pretty brown eyes of his. the guy named L says "Kami, we have to be mean, or else she isn't going to listen. And if she doesn't listen then... we might have to MAKE her, listen. and i don't think anyone wants that." He looks me straight in the eye, piercing my soul like a blade, and he makes me flinch and look away. Kami says "stop it L. Youre scaring her. maybe if we ask her nicely?"
I just nod, trying to make sense out of the situation.
