Chapter 9

I woke up and I was still in the school. I saw a blond haired boy standing over me. I quickly backed away from him. "Who are you?" I said as I got to my feet.

"I'm offended Rose." He said. I stared at him for a little while.

"Alekandr." I whispered softly. Aleks was a really good friend and I was kind of happy he was here. I just hoped I was dreaming. I hugged him smiling wider then I had smiled in a while. He hugged me back.

"Where have you been?" He asked me. I just laughed slightly.

"Where have I been?" I said still laughing. I slowly pulled away from him. "Where you been Aleks?" I asked him. He was obviously a vampire, that or I was hallucinating, or even dreaming.

"Oh, you know, Paris, London, New York." He said grinning a little. I hugged him again.

"I can't believe you're here." I said. "Do you know how long I've been out for?" I asked him. He shook his head.

"Well, let's go out catch up." Aleks said as he looked at me. I sighed. All this drama would be here when I got back I'm sure. Aleks is my best friend after all.

"Fine." I said. "Where exactly are we going to go?" I asked him.

"Well, I have a house in town." He said.

"Did you happen to steal this house?" I asked with a small laugh.

"You'll just have to see." Alekandr responded.

We got to his house and talked for a long time. I caught him up on just about everything and he told me how he became a vampire and that he had spent a while looking for me before he finally just gave up and traveled the world for a little while until he had come back the Mystic Falls because he had heard talk about it.

"Well, we both have some very intresting stories." He said. I nodded slightly. My phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled it out and noticed it was Stefan.

"Give me one second, okay?" I said as I stepped outside.

"Klaus is dead." Was all Stefan said.

"Excuse me?" I said, maybe I hadn't heard him correctly.

"Rosey, he's dead. And we know he turned you so..." He didn't finsh his sentence. I slowly sank to the ground. I most have been out for a long time.

"I-I'll call you back, Stefan" I told him as I hung up the phone. I few moments later Aleks walked out and saw me on the ground.

"What happened?" He asked me. I shook my head and got up, I didn't want him to watch me die.

"I have to go, Aleks, I promise I'll come and visit you again." I said as I held back tears as I walked away. I didn't know where I was going. I felt like I had been walking around for hours, but if I had I would be dead by now. It was weird I should be dead by now right? I saw the sun starting to raise maybe I wasn't going to die.

I got another call; it was Tyler, which I found strange. I figured he would be spending his dying with Caroline.

"I need to see you, love." He said.

"Tyler, what is this about?" I asked.

"Just meet me in the cellar." He said and hung up. At this point I knew Klaus couldn't be dead, either that or he had been imputing some fake memories in my head.

I walked to the Lockwood cellar. I was greeted by Tyler. I raised an eyebrow as I waited for him to explain what was going on. Bonnie was there also.
