Safe Home (Cameron Dallas Fanfic)

Chapter 1

PAISLEY'S POV

He hit me.

 My cold delicate hand lied on my throbbing cheek. I could feel the tears streaming down my face. I scanned my arms and legs counting every single bruise and cut on my body. I cared to my wounds and winced at the pain, from that point on I knew what I had to do. I ran to my room and locked the door, I threw my things in my big Vera Bradley duffle bag and grabbed all the money I had saved up for college. I quickly gathered my things and climb out the window leaving my bedroom door locked behind me.

 From here I knew I was on my own, from here I knew I was safe. 

This has been going on for 4 years now, the constant abuse. I try to stay strong, but its a real struggle and no one supports me or tries to help. I feel like I'm locked in a box screaming for help and no one can hear me. I don't have many friends in my town and often get picked on and push around. But its time for a change and that time is now. I always dream of living in California and thats where I running to. I live in Nebraska in a small town with about 1,800 people. I ready for the big city and a new life, I want to see what the world had in store for me. I know of the big risk I'm taking I just hope he doesn't find me. I call an uber and make my way to the airport. When I arrive, I give the driver $30 and look for the airport front desk. I see a line of what looks like 20 people... Great this should be so much fun...

After waiting for a solid 30 minutes, I am able to get a one way flight to Los Angeles even though I have no plan for when I get there. I guess I'll just figure it out when I'm there.
