"I always say always be prepared."           
"You never say that, "she said strapping her very high-heeled shoes."Just to be clear you are not carrying pizza to a wedding,"she said giving me that you-better-do-whatever-i-say look.We stared at each other for a while until I took the pizza out of my bag and put it back in the fridge.
"You know I'm only going for the food,"I said and she smiled warmly at me.I saw the tiny hint of sadness in her eyes. "Are you okay?"I asked,"you don't have to go."

Alleysa might have been my best friend but she was a bit stupid sometimes.Just to speed you up on the story we were headed to her ex's wedding.The ex that she still loved. The ex that mercilessly told her that she was just a friend with benefits.I wished I could rip his throat out and...

When we got there we skipped right to the reception and i immediately went for the food but something stopped me.My bff's ex, Daniel and his wife Kristen or was it Samantha were coming towards us. "Hey there          
Alleysa, Tara,"he greeted a little cold when he got me.I didn't bother to answer.I was bitter you would think I was the one who got dumped.
"The party's wonderful Daniel and you're such a beautiful bride Samantha, "Alleysa gushed and i scoffed.She elbowed me and without as much as a goodbye headed over to the snack table.
