Chapter 4: Things Started to Turn

Isabella’s POV

After that bad dream about Chan Sung-oppa, I woke up in excite. I quickly in the bathroom and took a bath. I even sing Got7’s debut song ‘Girls Girls Girls’. In this moment, I am already embracing and accepting Got7 to my life. I finished taking a bath and I turned to my closet. “What should I wear?” I asked myself. “Maybe, I should wear this one.” I am talking to myself as I will get answers by doing that. After so many talking to myself, I had finally chosen the dress that I will wear. I had chosen the white tank top printed with ‘I love KPOP’ and black skinny jeans and I put on a sky blue cardigan for style and also I wore my dark blue Vans sneakers.

After dressing up, I walked down stairs to wait Mindy. She held the two tickets, reassuring that I’ll go with her. She really never trusted me that I can love Got7 too.

I waited for her patiently and I waited her for two hours.  I never expected that this thing will happen; originally she never had ditched me like this before. She will like be here at my house 30 minutes before that time that she is supposed to be here.

Even though I am hopeless that she will soon come, I still waited for her when their family driver arrived. “Uh? Mr. Kim where is Mindy?” I asked him. “Ms. Isabella, Ms. Mindy told me to give you this ticket. She told me that she couldn’t be with you in the showcase because she is not feeling well.” He explained. “What? She should’ve called so that I can see her.” I exclaimed but not purposely. “She also told me that you should go to the showcase and that she’ll be okay soon. She told me also to not disobey her.” He informed me. “Aniyo!! I don’t want to go without her.” I told him. “But Miss Isabella, she said that she will be sad if you will not go besides she also told me that ticket is really hard to~~ to~~ dig in.” Dig in?? What does she mean by that? Did she lure guys again to only get that ticket? OHHH~~!! Okay fine. As if I can win over her this time. She used her efforts again to win over me. “Arasso. Mr. Kim, then tell her that I will go” I told him with smile. After that, he drove away going back to Mindy’s house. Mr. Kim is really such a nice person; he has been their family driver since they had established their company.

I told my mom and dad that Mindy couldn’t go with me in the showcase. Then, they told that they will just drive me to the venue of the showcase.

I am so lonely by now plus I don’t have any idea about this showcase. But still I am no shy, I will go inside that building and I will meet them and say how I look forward to them. Fighting!!

I walked out of the car. “Bye honey, be safe okay? Just call if something went wrong okay?” My mom is so sweet. “Arasso. Drive safely. Bye.” I replied as I wave to them. I walked around the place since the showcase is not yet about to start.

I notice an ice cream shop and I immediately walk towards it. I bought my favorite flavor, vanilla strawberry ice cream. I just love how strawberry and vanilla tastes like.

I ate my ice cream and went inside the venue. WHOA!! I can’t imagine that they are actually famous even thought they just got their debut 7 days ago. I lined up and gave my ticket to the usher. Even though I don’t know them well I am still excited. They are still Kpop. The usher gave back my ticket. But why~~?? “Why?” I asked her. “Your ticket is V.I.P., you should line over there.” She pointed to the other line which has fewer people in line. I am really embarrassed back there. It seems like I’ve never been to an event like this. I walked out embarrassedly from the line and went towards the V.I.P. line. I gave again my ticket to the usher but this time I am praying that she will not give it back again just like what happened to the other line.  Well – thanks to it that the usher only gave back the other half of the ticket – so it means that I can go inside now. Since my ticket is V.I.P., I’ll be seating in front. In this case I will witness how they would amaze people. I look around and WOW~~ their fans are really many. I thought again the first time I have gone to 2PM’s showcase. This moment feels like déjà vu.

I never wasted time lurking around and scrutinizing how popular they are, so I walked in front to find a seat for myself. I spotted a chair where I can have a good view of them, so I went there. I slowly sit down and wait for the start of the showcase. I am so lonely without Mindy; this is my first time to go on event like this without her. After an hour of filling the venue, the showcase is about to start. The crowd started to get wild and the stage is slowly dimming to welcome the GOT7. The music started with a song ‘Hello’, one of GOT7’s songs on their album. The first to sing is their leader JB, the crowd gets wild and they even shouted until their last breath; though I can still handle their noise. I am an avid fan but I scream like a siren just to express my love for them even Mindy would not do that. But when Mark started to sing the even get louder, they are like screaming for life and death. No doubt, Mark is indeed handsome in person. I am staring to like them.

After them singing their 4 singles (Girls Girls Girls, Like Oh, Hello, and I Like You) they suddenly appeared on stage. JB started to talk.  “ While we are performing here in stage, one of GOT7 staff picked a lovely girl to be with us here on stage by their tickets.” A sound effect of drum roll started. “And the lucky girl is~” He paused for a while to get the thrill of the crowd. “~is Isabella Park.” I am not paying attention to it for a while when JB, Jackson, and Jr. repeated my name. “Ms. Isabella Park where are you?” Jackson announced. I suddenly stood up and raised my right hand. The spotlight went to my direction. “Come on stage now, Isabella.” Jr. said. Not saying anything, I started to walk towards the stage. I can hear how the crowd cheered for me. Some might be envious, happy or getting wild about me being the lucky girl to with the GOT7. I am on stage now and I felt a rush through my cheeks. Am I blushing? They let me sit on a chair at the center of the stage. “Isabella Park, this song is for you.” Someone said that and I don’t know who he is. I can’t look at them because I am frozen here at my chair. They suddenly started to sing their song ‘Playground’.

When the song ended the stage dimmed and one of the staff led me toward one of the rooms backstage and she offered me a bottle of water. “Kamsahamnida.” I told her. It was really breathtaking to be lucky. I wouldn’t do that again. 

“Miss Park, GOT7 is now ready for meet and greet. You should go now. Are you with someone?” She asked me. “I’m alone.” I answered her. “Oh, that is a big problem.” She told me. “Why would it be?” I asked. “There are so many crazy fans outside. They might attack you of they saw you.” She explained. “What??” I exclaimed. “Just wait here until the crowd becomes smaller. Don’t worry you will still get your VIP MEET AND GREET with GOT7.” She told me. “Okay~” I told her. I waited for 2 hours in dressing room. “Why do fans are crazy like hell?” I asked myself. “No they are not.” A manly voice disagrees with me. “WHY NOT? They are the reason why I am stocked here.” I exclaimed and turned to his direction. I am shocked to see Jackson standing beside the door. “A~h a~h. Myanhae.” I told him while bowing. “Hahaha. It’s okay I am just joking you.” He told me. Grrr. You fool why do you choose to mess with me?
