Chapter 5: Explain Yourself

Isabella’s POV

After my conversation with Jackson, I never noticed that it is already 10 PM. The crowd is still big, thus, they still insisted for me to stay for a while. They explained that they are only doing this for my safety. As of what I observed, they really care about their fans. No doubt, one day they’ll get famous like 2PM and EXO.

After waiting for a while, I already got my CD autographed by GOT7 members. They smiled to me when they signed my CD, they also apologized for the inconvenience but I convinced them that I am okay with it.

They offered me a ride and I accepted it. I don’t want to bother my parents in this late night. Speaking of my parents, I didn’t check my phone yet. There 25 missed calls and 30 messages from my mom. “Omo.” I whispered to myself. “What is it?” Jackson asked. “Oh~ nothing I just thought something.” I lied. “Ah~ okay.”

I am now right here in front of our house. I am actually standing here for about 30 minutes. I am afraid. What if they’ll scold me until I couldn’t sleep? I finally gained my strength and I rang the bell. “Your late.” I hear my mom’s voice. I’m so dead. “Umma~” I muttered. “Just get inside and we’ll talk about it.” My mom said. We walk through our porch. We entered the living room where my dad is seated. “Isabella Park, why didn’t you answered our calls and messages?” My dad immediately asked me. “Appa~ I’ll explain everything.” I told him. “Okay, go on. We are listening.” My dad told me with a deep-calm voice. “Got7 had to pick a lucky girl to be with them in the stage and~” I paused to breath. “~and luckily, they had picked me.” Before I can continue my mom cut me and asking. “What would it do with you being late then?” My mom is really serious. “When the song is finished one of their staff led to one of the dressing room and she told me to stay there for a while. I waited about an hour there when she came back. She told that I can’t go home that time because there are too many fans outside waiting, if I’ll walk through them; I wouldn’t know what would happen to me. They might kill me out of envy.” I explained. “Oh my poor baby. We should’ve come with you there.” My mom suddenly became worried.  “Umma, I’m fine now. Don’t worry about me.” I reassured her.  “Oh our poor princess, even though that is the case you should’ve called us then.” My dad embraced me. “Myanhae~ appa. I shouldn’t make you worry about me, I won’t do it again.” I promised. I’ll surely never do it again because I never wanted them to be so freaking out like this.

We called it a night, after our conversation we headed towards our own room. I dropped my weigh down the bed. “I’m so tired~~~.” I muttered. Because of my tiredness, I never mind changing clothes. I just directly sleep through this very tiring day.
