My Elvendale Adventure (Cronan X Reader)

Chapter 2: Nice to Meet Everyone

My first instinct should be to run in the opposite direction but instead I find myself running towards it. Back in my mind I know that this is the cause of a person. The heat is intense as I break through the buses and come to a small field. In the middle is a burning tree house and 6 people. I start running over, "Are you alright?!" I ask the strangers.

They turn around, "Oh my gosh, Y/N!"says one of them.

"Emily! Sophie!" I must have followed them through but went a different direction. I run to them and hug them both, "Where are we?"

"Elvendale!" says Sophie, I look over to Emily. It all makes sense now.

"Wait... this is the place you always write about in English class... so that means," I look over to the four other people who have been staring at me this whole time, "You are Elves!" Suddenly excitement takes over me. I point at the girl with darker skin, wavy red and orange hair, and a red and orange dress, "Your Azari."

"Yeah" says Azari.

Next I look at the boy with brown hair and a green shirt, "Farren."

"The one and only!" he says.

"Aira?" I asked the girl with lilac hair in a ponytail.

"Woooow" she responded in a soprano voice.

"And that means your Naida."

"Nice to meet you," the girl with wavy blue hair gave a sweet wave.

"This is crazy! Your all real! I had always thought Emily just had weird dreams and that was her inspiration for her stories!" My comment makes everyone laugh and Emily blush.

"Wait... then that must be your tree house," my eyes lead me to an ablaze tree house in the middle of the field.

"Yeah, was our tree house," says Azari and I hug her.

"I so sorry. How did it happen?" I ask.

"It was goblins!" says Sophie.

"Yeah I always thought they were bad but I never thought they would be bad enough to do this!" Farren tells me. We all just stood there in awkward silence until I broke it with a yawn."Man i'm tired. Do we have anywhere else to stay?" The elves just shake their heads.

"I guess we'll just have to crash on the ground tonight." says Emily.

Sophie lays on the ground, "Fine with me! Goodnight." I follow Sophie and lay on the ground, so does everyone else.

"Goodnight," I say and so does everyone else then I close my eyes and fall asleep.

I awake to find everyone up and rebuilding the tree house. I stand up and walk over to Emily. "Early start?" I ask her.

"Yeah," she takes a break from washing the tree and looks at me, "We were gonna wake you but we figured we would start and see how far we got."

"Well i'm up now. How can I help?" I asked Emily.

Naida joined into our conversation, "You could find food we are all hungry."

"Sounds good," I reply and grab a basket.

Just then Azari and Farren broke through the bushes carrying a log. "Reeeeally wish the dragons were here right now," said Farren.

"Less talking more walking!" She huffed back at him. I couldn't help but giggle. Then she dropped her half of the log. "Oh hey Cronan," she said. I turned my head to find a tall elf come into the field.

He walked up to the burnt tree house, "Oh goodness! What happened here?" he asked in a hypnotizing voice.

"It was the goblins!" said Naida answering his question.

"They attacked in the night! Burnt down our tree, and ruined our sleepover." Aria said explaining the situation.

"Well i'm not surprised," Cronan said with a shrug, "those goblins are evil." I start to get a good look at him. He has darker green hair that falls just before his shoulders and cognac eyes. He is wearing a coffee brown tank top with a green necklace, umber brown pants, and peanut brown boots. He is by far one of the hottest guys I met.

"When I get my hands on them there gonna pay for this!" Shouts Azari.

"Oh if only i'd been around to protect you," Cronan says, causing Azari to swoon.

"Yeah," Sophie interrupes, "funny how you were gone the whole time we were in trouble."

"Well, I'm here to help now," says Cronan sauntering past Sophie. He grabs a rag and starts to wipe down the tree as Emily was doing earlier, and I decided it's either now or never to introduce myself.

"Hi, um, my name is Y/N. I'm Emily's friend." I say trying not to embarrass myself.

"Cronan," he says politely shaking my hand, making me blush, "Um I don't remember seeing you when I first met the others."

"Oh well, I followed Emily here by mistake and got lost and... it's a long story." I don't know what else to say cause its not the most interesting story.

Cronan looked at me and smiled, "I have time."

It felt good to recap the whole adventure I had in the matter of two days, especially to Cronan. For some reason I felt comfortable telling him everything, he seemed very interested in my boring story, looking at me once and a while and smiling when I'd notice him. I was just getting to the part where I meet everyone when Sophie butted in. "Guys! Check this out," she screamed. She was juggling apples with a bucket on her head.

"Oh no," I heard Emily say as Sophie almost ran into a pole. She dropped everything and grabbed the pole trying to regain her ballace. Then the whole thing started tipping.
