Jack's POV-

Hoodie didn't want to go alone, he wasn't in shape. He tells me that he has a little cough, so we decided to tag along. I took my knife out in my right hand and a hammer in my left hand. The hammer is the latest addition to my list of weapons. And as always, Hoodie took his crowbar out. "How can you handle such a long thing?" I asked. He shrugged his shoulders and rolled the crowbar, "Practice, I guess?" He replied. I nod my head and stared up at the night sky. What an incredible sight! I guess it could always be like this, living like a normal human, not a half - human. Life is so frustrating nowadays.

We are almost immortals, Slendy told us when we first entered the mansion, and he did some kind of magic and a blue aura surrounded me then, and then told me I could live forever, unless someone kills me to death.

But imagine it, living the rest of your lives like this, like hell. Yeah, hell. This is nothing less than hell. Even when I'm half human, I think of myself as a full monster. How can a man, a thing, who has dripping, black slime coming out of their eye sockets and whose favourite food is 'kidney sandwich' be called human (or half human) ?

Yet, I'm nothing more than a monster, and I've learnt to accept myself as one, I have to. 'Cause I am. I am a monster. Everyone is, except for Jeff and Masky (who are fully human), everyone.

I can't love, I can never have my own family. I can't listen to even some fuckin' songs because I have work to do.

Yeah, work.

Speaking of work, here I am, telling Hoodie to get his own house (probably the next one) while I take the one I am leaning against. I take my hammer out and break the glass to enter. There must be multiple persons here, but I don't care, I'll have to kill them anyways, I can't get out in the middle of the action. I sticked my head out of the window I just came in to make sure Hoddie's not lost.

Hoodie did the same as me but only with his crowbar except for a hammer. He flashed me a salute and went in. I smirked, even though it can't be seen because of the blue mask which I wear all the time.

I switched my hammer with my knife and went upstairs. I held it upside down and grab the doorknob of the first room. I slowly open it and see no one inside. Hmmmmm, okay. Acceptable.

I room had nothing inside it, nothing. Totally empty. It only had a bed with no mattress or anything. I closed the door and sighed. This is getting a bit boring. Maybe there was no one inside. I walk over to the next and last room and got ready. Maybe there was someone I inside it. Maybe.

I opened the door quietly and see a girl sleeping inside. The blanket was on the floor, she probably kicked it down unknowingly.

A finger tapped me on the shoulder and I almost jumped. But my instincts told me not to. I turned back and saw Hoodie. His crowbar was sheathed inside his sweatshirt.

"What happened?" I said, lowly.

"Well, there house inside which I went into was empty. The was not even a single inside it." He replied, with sarcasm and little anger in his voice.

"L-O-L. LOL ?" I replied.

"Go to hell, man."

"Well, literally, hell is coming to us." I said again and he got pissed off. He got out of the room and waited at the door.

"Go on, do your work. I'm the audience." He said and I sighed.

I turn back to look at the girl and she was fully awake, staring at us with big eyes. Her whole body was shaking.

I tightened my grip and ran at her and suddenly when the knife was about to hit her, a light began to glow from her thigh. I stayed still for a second, and stared at the light, it seemed familiar.

"What on earth?" Hoodie said and began walking towards me.

The light was a little faint and it was a mixture of blue and red.

"Is it.....is she the proxy? " I muttered.

The girl didn't even talk to us and folded her thighs to see from where the light was coming from. It was a mark.

An O with an X over it.

'What's your name?" I asked her, shocked.

"Candice. Candice Mitchell."

"Well, Candice, are you surprised to see us?" Hoddie's asked.

"No."

"I know you guys. You're Hoodie. And the guy in front of me with a knife in his hand who came to kill me is Eyeless Jack. You're all creepypastas, aren't you? I wasn't shaking because I was scared but because I didn't believe you guys existed." She replied.

"Fuck...." Hoodie muttered.

"Do you realise that you're the proxy?" I cried out.

"What's a proxy?"

"I guess Slenderman will explain that to you."

"He lives? Slenderman lives?"

"Uh, yeah."

"How did you come to know of us?"

"You guys are all over the Internet. Didn't you know that?"

"No, Ben didn't tell us anything about it."

"Ben is there, too?"

"Yup. Wanna go and see?" Hoddie asked.

"Uh, okay."

"Let's go." I said, sheathing my knife in.
