"Gerald, I need you to do something for me". "Yes, sir" Gerald walked over to his boss, Mr. Catrell who was seated on a swivel chair in his office.

"I'm here sir" he sat down on the oaken chair. "You know that you are the only person I trust right now".  "Yes, sir."   " Twenty five years ago I met a pretty woman on my business trip with a few investors in New York. Her name was Roxanne and when I met her at the club it was love at first sight. She was an ordinary waitress but she awoke something special in me. We became friends and before I went back to Los Angeles she and I had a one night stand."

"You cheated on your wife?" Gareth raised his eyebrows. "Yes. My wife and I only got married because our parents wanted us to".  "An arranged marriage?"  " Something like that. So, she came to me a month later telling me that she was pregnant. I broke her heart telling her that I wouldn't leave my wife to be with her. In a way I tried to make it up to her by promising to take care of her and the baby. She was really hurt and just left the next day without telling me."

"She left?" "Yes. I hired a detective and found out after a few months that she had giveno birth to a baby girl. I tried to explain to her but  she told me that she didn't need me in her life".

"So you have a daughter?" Gareth asked. "Yes. She lives in Nashville with her grandma because her mother is dead. She is a nutrionist and needs to be my only heir. It is the only thing I can give her when i'm gone. Gareth, I have a weak heart  and I know that I'm going to die soon. When I'm gone, I need you to go to Nashville and bring her to Los Angeles for the reading of my will."

"I don't think that's  gonna be easy."  "I know that. From what i've heard she is not
an easy girl to deal with but, I think you can manage. Gareth, remember that this conversation is confidential. Here is the necessary information you will need" he handed over to him a brown envelope.

"Thank you for trusting me, sir" "No problem Gareth. You can go now". Gareth smiled and went outside closing the door behind him.

At the Catrell mansion, Mrs. Catrell came downstairs in a blue jumpsuit with black stilettos with a pearl necklace and her blonde hair held up in a bun. She smiled when she saw her friend Tina sitting on the white couch. "Tina" "Barbara my dear friend" they both hugged eachother.

"My dear friend I've missed you" Tina said to her friend, Barbara as the maid served them with tea. "When did you come back from Sweden?"  "Just yesterday" Tina answered. Tina took a sip of her cup of tea and asked, "How is Mansen?"  "He's fine but, he is still suffering from a weak heart." "I'm so so sorry" Tina apologised.

"Tina, both of us know that it would be better for Mansen to die. He has never acted like a husband and neither have I. He was never the perfect husband and you and I know that I've had countless affairs before. He should die because all I need is his wealth to help keep me and my son living in luxury."
