^That is Blade, Cho's horse^(I don't own the art BTW)

"Prepare Blade and my tools, I will be there to saddle him in an hour," I demanded, staring the soul out of my trembling servant, wait, she doesn't have a soul, nevermind.

"Yes, my--my queen," she quivered.

"And I want to see Lady Ebony," I commanded.

"I will go fetch her," a guard bowed.

"No need," Ebony walked in, "I am here."

The guard bowed at her presence, receiving a simple nod from my lady-in-waiting. She stopped in front of my throne and curtsied.

"Guards dismissed," I called, "you too, maid."

They obeyed, obviously, since no one wants to make the queen mad.

"Please, Ebony, stop with the formal acts," I yawned in a very unladylike way.

Ebony simply giggled.

"So, you want to have a face to face with Jubil?" she asked bluntly. She is the only one who dares to talk to me like that, and I like it.

"She is still the immature princess," I rolled my eyes, "please! She never grows up. Look at her, sending a troop of killers with ill skill, expecting me to be defeated."

"Very immature indeed, but I have to admit that her mind is very sharp," Ebony sat down on the floor.

"Don't sit on the carpet, the greasy haired man ruined it," I added, "I don't want your pretty velvet dress to be stained by hair oil."

"About the man," Ebony didn't even budge, "he is very good looking, I must say."

I rolled my eyes, she has such a terrible taste in man.

"Oh, please! He is a very ill-looking man," I groaned, "and he is going to die soon!"

"I forgot who I was talking to, didn't I?" Ebony asked sarcastically, "I am talking to Cho Melan, the ruthless princess who becomes a ruthless queen at age of 16, scaring half of the country to their second-death."

"I am not that ruthless," I retorted, "I only killed a few men by my own hand, about 100ish, it is not that many. Some of them become my people after death anyway."

"Yeah, 100 people,"

"Hey! You killed like 50 yourself!"

"Well, it is half of your size!"

"True," I twisted a lock of my hair with my finger, "not enough death."

"How about let's pack? I am getting tired of your rants about murdering and stuff," Ebony changed the topic.

"Who are you riding?" I am still focused on my hair twisting.

"I am going on the foolish journey with you?"

How rude!

"Yes, Lady Ebony, I, Queen Melan hereby request you to join me on the journey," I chirped dramatically.

"I am not going to die again, right?" she asked "thoughtfully".

"You are a devil! Ebony! A devil! It takes a lot of energy to kill you again!" I shouted, "you are not even me! I am a human trapped inside of a devil body."

"Cho, you are a devil..." Ebony facepalmed.

"Yeah, whatever, I can believe whatever I want," I kept my head high.

"I am riding Lava if you don't mind," Ebony announced.

"Should we just make that man walk while we ride?" I ignored her.

"I am perfectly fine with that," she is just as hard as me, that is the best part of her.

Ebony is the only one in this country that doesn't fear me, she has been my lady-in-waiting for two years now. She is very very cold, on the outside, and her knife throwing skill can demolish an army in a second. However, I bet 99.999999...% of the devil population don't know what a hopeless romantic she is.

"Do you think this dress suite me well?" she blabbed, finally standing up to twirl her dress.

I gazed at her ball gown, it is made out of dark blue velvet and snow-white silk, quite flashy if you ask me.

"How much did you spend on it? I didn't give you money to waste on dresses," I turned away, "but it suits you well."

"I made it, Cho, I am not a gold-digger," she flipped her hair dramatically.

"You know how to sew? You never sew my dress," I thought about the times when I have to lower my position to sew my own dress. I am too lazy to get new dresses, and Ebony has her stupid feckless face on, ugh!

"Well, there is nobody to serve me," she replied.

"YOU ARE MY LADY-IN-WAITING! EBONY! YOU ARE ABOVE EVERYONE IN THIS COUNTRY EXCEPT FOR ME!" I shouted in my royal voice, it scared my own ear.

"Wowwow, Cho, that is impressive," Ebony clapped ironically.

"Thank you," I rolled my eyes.

"Anytime," Ebony curtsied, "and if you don't mind, my queen, I am going to start packing."

I waved my had, giving her the permission to dismiss.

"Cho, stop acting like as if you are above everyone else."

"I am above everyone else."
