Katyusha woke up from a bad dream, Mathew saw this and said "it was just a dream." But Katyusha stared blankly thunking of what has happened, it was the same dream but the faces are vague and the places are blurry but it was too familiar to Her but she seemingly camt remember at all, Katyusha then went back into reality when Mathew placed his hand on her head, it may seem he doesn't have any work today for he stayed home probably taking care of the house or taking care of Samantha because she is sick.
Meanwhile in the border of two kings there were twenty thousand soldiers camping on the nearest forest preparing for a night raid to attack Savania, one of the territories of Romalia, their plan is to cripple the resources of Romalia by attacking them at night, territory by territory, villages, towns and storages are all targeted by the Silverden forces this would cause the economy and resource of Romalia to drastically drop, forcing them to surrender but before they could start the attack on the other targets, they started at Savania one of the main source of resource of Romalia, it used to be heavily guarded due to the bandits attacking the town but after they irradicated the bandits, the town's guard turned lazy, which makes the Silverden soldiers into advantage.
The sun began to set and the soldiers began to arm themselves and eventually marched their way to Savania. They've reached the kilometer mark and eventually surrounded the town forming a troop consists of five thousand each sides, they have achieved this without any source of light. Under the dark night, they moved closer to the gates, they have reached the territory on the perfect time where villagers are in their deep slumber, not knowing the danger which lurks in the shadows.
The village guards were too lazy to do a night patrol for they haven't been any bandit raids for a long time this made the infiltration easier for the enemy.
The enemies moved swiftly in silence and began killing the guards one by one and after achieving the first primary target, they eventually started to burn the village, the villagers woke up, confused on what was going on, they panicked and caused chaos, they realized they were surrounded and a mass slaughter started, no one was spared except one person who cunningly hid inside the well, it was a cold night for the person but that does not matter as long as he is alive, he waited for the sun to rise.
The sun started to rise but it seemed that there were no signs of any noise from the outside, the man waited for he knows that it was the time for the soldiers of Romania to collect a portion of their harvest. The Romalian soldiers went to the town and found nothing but rubbles and burnt houses, the man head the noise but he was not sure if it was their soldiers or the enemy, he remained quiet. Luckily a soldier was thirsty and went to the well to drink and noticed the survivor, he was then brought up and was interrogated on what happened, they were surprised on the report and eventually they passed it on their higher ups to be passed on to the king, the king ordered for a tight security for all of his territories, all but one territory made their securities tight, it was from duke Francisco's territory, he didn't attend on the meetings with king either, this made the king become suspicious of Francisco's actions and ordered his men to check on Francisco's territory, 3 soldiers were tasked to go to the territory and investigate.
The three soldiers were riding on the horse on the way one said "I bet I can reach there first!" The other said "No, I'll get there before you could even reach the place!" The third one said "Guys we should stick to the mission-" but before he could finish his sentence he was cutt off from the second soldier who went on first with his horse and the first soldier chased him the third soldier stayed behind, keeping up from the pace of the two fellow soldiers who were racing.
Upon reaching the territory near the town's gates the two soldiers who were racing were shot down by arrows the third solder who was taking his time managed to stay out of the arrow's reach and saw his fellow soldiers laying on the floor, he was at the hill while the two were on the plains, he went close to inspect but as he went closer, he almost hit by an arrow, he raised his flag signaling that they were Romanian soldiers but they were still firing arrows towards him, he then rushed back to the castle and reported this to the king.
Days after the incident, the soldier reached the kingdom and reported the king on what happened, the king then believed on what the soldier said but he still has doubts whether if what he was thinking that duke Francisco was a traitor or not, he still sent few soldiers but they never returned, he then ordered an arrest for Francisco for treason by any means necessary but he must be captured alive for interrogation before executing him the king then ordered a hundred men to capture Francisco who is subjected to treason by the order of the king, the soldiers then marched towards Francisco's territory.
As they reached the place, they noticed Silverden banners entering the town, they went far enough to be able to see Silverden soldiers, it was approximately a hundred or less, so they decided to attack but one person tried to stop them, because he had a bad feeling on what was going on, but the other fellow soldiers didn't listen and attacked, they managed to surprise the Silverden soldiers but they were even more surprised when they were surrounded, the soldier who stayed behind saw it and ran back to the castle with his horse to report it to the king.
