You wake up feeling a little exhausted still and felt something holding on to your hand. You look over seeing that Charlotte is asleep in a chair next to your bed and is holding onto your hand.
"What are you doing?" you exclaimed loudly.
Charlotte opened her eyes and looked over at you.
"You were twitching and mumbling in your sleep as if you were having a nightmare. When I put my hand on top of your's, you settled down and went back to sleeping peacefully." Charlotte said.
"Sorry for causing you to worry. I am just nervous starting at a new school. I am the only other male in the world besides Ichika to be able to use an IS unit." you say.
"It's alright. You will be fine. We need to get to class though before we are late." Charlotte says.
"Right. Let's hurry." you say.
Both Charlotte and you make it to the classroom, but unfortunately, you both are late.
"Miss Dunois and Mr. (L/N). You both are late. I want fifteen laps around the arena after school from each of you." Miss Orimura says.
"Yes Ma'am." both Charlotte and you say.
Both of you sit down at your desks as Miss Yamada starts the class. Before lunch, you had to sit through classes of the history of the IS units and mathematics courses dealing with the functions on an IS unit. As class was dismissed for lunch, you call out to Miss Orimura.
"Miss Orimura? Can I have a word with you real quick?" you ask.
"What is it Mr. (L/N)?" Miss Orimura asks.
You explain why both Charlotte and you were late and asked that you could do Charlotte's laps for her because of it.
"That is acceptable. Please inform Miss Dunois that she doesn't have to do the laps and why." Miss Orimura says before turning around and walking away. You could of sworn she had a smile on her face, as she walked away. Now it was time to meet up with everyone for lunch and explain to Charlotte that she didn't have to do the laps and hope that you did the right thing.
