You love the late hours of the night, you often stayed up until the sky changes colors, from what was once a dark sky full of stars becoming a beautiful scenery of a mixture of blues, oranges, white and pink; colors that are pleasing to the eyes, a sight that made you feel warm.

Your parents were against this idea, it wasn't a healthy habit, they would say. So you were often scolded, resulting for you to obey their orders to simply just shut their mouths.

When summer came though, that's when you gave no shit and just... you went out there and lived your best life. No rules to follow, no school works to keep you busy. You were just free to do anything as you wished so you came back to that old habit of yours, your body slowly adjusting to the time you wished to be awake.

But amidst all of this, you just got bored. You found no joy in staying in your room for the rest of the night until morning comes. You wanted to seek adventure, you wanted to feel free, you wanted something new.

So one midnight, you snuck out of the house and into the streets of the city, you didn't drive a car nor took your bike with you, it was just you, walking mindlessly, and it was as if your feet has a mind of its own and you didn't mind wherever it took you. You enjoyed the feeling of it, you enjoyed how the cold breeze hit your skin which made you skin crawl in excitement. You lived for this kind of moments, dreamed of it even.

Now you see it wasn't very like you to snoop around but upon walking down the streets you see there was a boy, sitting in the middle of the street, his head raised, it seems like he was watching the sky or rather just looking at the traffic light that changes colors from green to yellow then red then a cycle which never seems to stop.

You came closer to that boy,, his silhouette seemed familiar, this being the reason why you wanted to come closer and take a look.

And you were correct, indeed he was a boy who you knew. His name, you didn't know but you saw him often in school, sharing the same class since the second year of high school.

He was reckless, that was one of the things you knew about him,; he caused trouble,, he sleeped in classes and often failed subjects but if this boy caused such a scene why didn't you knew him then?

--

He still sat there, looking as innocent as ever, you took it upon yourself and sat on the empty space beside him,, "hi" you said, but it sounded almost as if it was just a sigh, it was too breathy but it didn't stop him from turning his gaze on you.

You were shock, to say the least; even if there was a minimal amount of lights that illuminated the streets, his eyes still took your breath away. He is.... beautiful.

He laughed, and boy did it sound like it was dripping of honey, it was too lovely and too sweet to hear. You might as well start to think that he was no ordinary human, but is an angel.

"everything alright? You look like you've seen a ghost" the boy lets out a laugh once again. His voice,, was deep yet soothing. It's just too good to be true.

You couldn't form the right words to say what you wanted to say, it was all too much. Maybe you have found yourself falling quickly in love, which is totally unexpected. You didn't expect to fall for a boy whose name you didn't know and yet here you are, stuck in a sugar coated mess.

He repeated the question, his voice, now filled with concern. It didn't help, the way the words comes out of his mouth makes your heart swoon and make you weak in the knees.

You tried to compose yourself, in attempt to put up a front but failing miserably. "I-it's o..kay. i mean,, I'm okay!" you answered.

"You sure seem like you don't"

"Well i cant help it when i know someone like you exists." you mumbled under your breath. His head shot up, his eyes looking right through you.

"What do you mean?" He looked at you, his eyes filled with curiosity. "It's nothing"

The boy nodded, not feeling the need of another response, he just sat there in complete silence, resuming to what he was doing before you came.

"You know..." he said in a tone as if he was singing "I think Ive seen you before" you only nodded, thankful that he knew who you were. "I think we share classes together" he added.

"That is infact true" you answered.

"Really?" You nodded.

"But you know, i never caught your name." He pondered, "i suppose you were too busy causing trouble mister..." you dragged the last word, you didn't know what to say because you didn't know his name either.

"I suppose you can do the same for me then" he laughed. "I guess that's true" you agreed.

"So are you going to tell me your name then?" He shook his head, "I don't think now is the right moment for that, I like it this way."

he stood up, brushing off the dust that stuck to his pants. "Come here take my hand." He said as he extended his hand for you to take, you hesistated.

You didn't know a thing about this boy yet alone even his name or his background, so who are you to put your trust in him? But a little bit of fun never hurt anyone right?

You grabbed onto his hand, which helped you to stand on your feet. "so what're we going to do?"

"Dance with me." He said abruptly which taken you aback. "W-what?!" You exclaimed. "Dance with me." He repeated.

"There's no music dumbass" you chuckled

"Hmmm well we can make our own" he smiled. "Come on, tell me, darling; what's your favorite song?"

Darling,, it sounded sweet, almost as if he was meant to call you that although there was no relation between the two of you, you liked this.

The moment felt ominous, yet it gave you some sort of rush, an explosion of euphoria that made you want to stay right where you stood.

Without a moment to spare he pulled you by the waist, your arms then found their way around his neck, gently resting them it in place.

"so.."

"oh right, it can be whatever you wish." you answered casually.

He started humming, a melody so familiar at the same time not, but you didn't pay it no mind, just going with however the moment goes, two bodies swaying in sync to an nonexistent song, just a melody hummed so awfully yet sweetly.

You looked up to meet his eyes, and him doing the same, the two of you locking gaze. His head slowly leaning forward, you knew what is going to happen and you just let it happen, even closing the gap the separates the two of you.

It feels right. To be enveloped within his warmth that felt like home.
