Chapter 2

Fresh POV

My head shot up once I heard the warning bell. I remembered the schematic of the building which I studied and when I toured. There was an abandoned hallway close to Muffet's class, I snapped my fingers and suddenly everything was white. I focused on the place in which I wanted to go, and suddenly I was there. Teleportation was annoying sometimes, but it worked. I just walked into the classroom without any fear. The moment I walked in there were murmurs and snickers. Ms. Muffet was actually a spider who seemed a little ticked off at everybody. She simply pointed to a seat close second to last from the corner closest to the door. I just nodded and sat down and observed my surroundings. The seat next to me was empty, but it was one of two. I looked behind me to see a nervous little yellow dinosaur. I extended my hand, "Hi, I'm Fresh, what's your name?"

She looked a little shocked but just shook my hand and said, "I-I'm A-Alphys."

"Nice to meet you Alphys!" I smiled, "Wanna be my friend?" She looked really happy and nodded her head up and down. I turned back to the front when I heard the door open and the bell ring. That jock PJ got here by the 'skin' of his teeth.

PJ POV

I rushed into the classroom at last second. I looked around to see what my rushed arrival had done. Most kids were staring at me, including the nerd! How the hell did he get here first? Before I could wonder that I had to deal with Ms. Muffet.

"Since you got here last PJ, you get to introduce yourself to the entire class." Ms. Muffet said in a nice tone, but I heard a threat under her trying to be nice.

I sighed internally as I introduced myself. "I'm PJ, captain of the baseball team." Muffet nodded and pointed to the seat next to the nerd. I sat down next to him, and I heard a slight groan from him. Heh.

Fresh POV

I gave a slight groan as Muffet put PJ next to me, he simply smirked as Muffet went over boring rules. My head snapped back to attention as she said, "These will be your seats for the rest of the year." I gave a quiet sigh as she said, "You'd better get used to them." I rethought over her words, at least I will be with Alphys. But then again I would also have to deal with a jock, back to zero positivity. (Sans plays the trombone)

He smirked again, does he ever freakin stop? "Guess you're stuck with me for the rest of the year." I said nothing as the bell rang. "See ya." I just grabbed my stuff and went, this was gonna be very interesting.

Still Fresh POV

I had nearly all classes with PJ before lunch, but I also had those with Alphys. I met with Alphys' friends, name Napstablook and Papyrus. We were just talking when suddenly cold liquid was poured on me.

"Milk is good for your bones, shorty!" A girl yelled as she walked away, I just sat there and continued to eat, giving this no attention. Not even the snickers and giggles

"Why you-!" Paps started to get up, I grabbed his arm and shook my head. There was no point in getting him involved too. He growled as he sat back down, "You sure dude? She deserves a beat down." 

I simply smiled and said, "Don't give them satisfaction." I released Paps and continued to eat. 

"I don't understand how you can be so chill about that." I looked up as Paps whispered angrily. I just shrugged, it was just a glass of milk. 

I smirked as I joked, "No crying over spilled milk, am I right?" Paps took a moment to process the joke while we were all trying to withhold our laughter. 

Paps' eyes? widened as he got the joke, and he screamed, "Fresh no puns!" We all burst out laughing at Paps' reaction. People continued to whisper about my reaction. I just brushed away a tear from laughing and thought to them all, go to hell.

PJ POV

I smirked as the girl did as he asked and poured milk on the nerd's head. The taller skeleton got up and looked like he wanted revenge, but Fresh grabbed his arm and shook his head. I'm seriously confused by the nerd. They all started to laugh silently as the taller skeleton thought. He suddenly got up and screamed to the nerd, "Fresh no puns!" The nerds all burst out laughing at his response. So Fresh was his name?

"What is wrong with those nerds?" Undyne wondered as she also watched them laugh. I just shrugged, who knows? Undyne got up and went over to Fresh, what was she planning?

Fresh POV

We all were slowly recovering from my joke. I wiped away a tear from my eye from laughing, and I opened my eyes to fish lady. She suddenly pushed me out of my chair, I was slightly dazed and surprised. Paps rose to challenge her but Alphys was first.

"Undyne!" Alphys yelled, helping me up. "What was that for?" Alphys glared at Undyne in rage. Undyne began to stutter out a response but Alphys just said, "Never mind!" She took my arm and walked out of the cafeteria. I looked over my shoulder to see a blushing Undyne giving me a death glare. Crap. When we were finally outside and in one of the halls close to our next class when we stopped.

"You sure you wanted to do that?" I asked, Alphys had already said that she liked Undyne, granted I didn't know who that was in the beginning. 

Alphys sniffed and said, "If she hurts my friends then I won't forgive her." She turned back to me with tears in her eyes. I smiled and hugged Alphys, she began to sob again. Poor Alphys, and it was all for my sake.

Word count: 1030

Feel train coming by for a delivery! That was a bit much, but I had to add it. Chapter 2 and a half added proudly. Anyway, this loving cool cat's gone!
