Betty's POV:
"I'm glad you're writing Jug." I smiled brightly as I walked out of Jughead and I's bedroom.
It was a pretty, but early morning for Jughead and I. As I wore a light pink robe, I made myself a cup of coffee while Jughead was typing away on his computer at the table.
"But you sometimes need to take a break." I finished telling him, sitting my coffee down to the side as I made my way over to Jughead.
I wrapped her arms around him, peeking over his shoulder at the writing he's done so far. "I'll break in a few minutes." He told me, not even glancing up from his computer, continuing to rapidly move his fingers.
The doorbell rang, making me turn towards the front door. "More like a few seconds." I corrected, sitting on the couch as Jughead got the door.
He sighed while opening the door, revealing a box on the front steps. Once Jughead picked it up, he came back inside.
"Did you order anything again?" Jughead asked me, a laugh escaped from my lips. "Nope, not this time."
The room had went silent once he opened the box. "Everything okay?" I asked, hoping he'd say something in reply.
Walking over to where he was, the same expression came upon my face. "Someone's blackmailing us." I whispered softly under my breath.
I looked up into Jughead's eyes, about to say something before the doorbell rang again. I stopped him as I went to go to the door this time, him cautiously following behind me.
I opened the door to see two investigators, probably wondering about Kevin's death. "Kevin Keller was found dead last night and we were looking into who his close friends and family were."
"So you came here? I haven't talked to Kevin in forever since I've been acting." I lied as the tall man stepped inside of the house, making himself welcome.
"Hey, we didn't invite you in." I told him angrily, pushing him roughly out of our home.
"Well since we must have an invite, mind if we ask a few questions Elizabeth Cooper?" He asked as I gazed Jughead's way, him squeezing my shoulders gently as he accepted the man's offer.
I wasn't the killer of Kevin, I didn't murder him. These random people interrogating me wasn't necessary at all if I'm being completely honest. "No, not at all." I responded, plastering a small smile on my face.
"We weren't there." Jughead whispered quietly in my ear as I squeezed his hand tightly, going over to the men who were waiting for us.
Third Person POV:
"So since you weren't there, where were you guys?"
"It was late at night, so we'd gone out to dinner before coming back here." Jughead said, smiling towards Betty.
"Is that correct Elizabeth?"
"Yes." Betty replied simply with an innocent smile.
It was about an hour they'd been asking questions, getting every single detail they could get out of us about where we had been last night when he was murdered.
We knew exactly what had happened, and so did someone else out there.
