A/N: Before we start, I just want to let you know that this is my first 'Teen Fiction' piece of writing. EVER. I am well aware it is cliche but if you could bear with me it would be greatly appreciated. :)

"We're goin' out tonight, to kick on every light, take everything we want, take everything in sight"The heavy chorus of Nickleback pounded through my headphones as drove my roaring Harley into the car park of my new school. I say new, what I mean is, the school I was forcibly moved to by my mother from my perfectly comfortable school in Britain.

It had been the last week of school when my mum had told my brother and I that we were moving to America, some town called Silverton Falls in Louisiana. Naturally, I was distraught about leaving all of my friends but I had finished my GCSE's so I guess we were going to split up and lose touch eventually, but even so. Thankfully, the American and British school years started at around the same time so our lives were not too messed up with the move, but I had finished school and should have been in college, but no, I had to still stay and do a full day of school every day.

Just don't screw up and get cocky on the first day. It can't be as cliquey and stereotyped as it is on TV can it? I asked myself as I parked my precious Harley that my dad had given me for out here and dismounted. With my headphones still in my ears but playing Highway to Hell now, I made my way towards the double doors that students were rushing through. Oh God, it was exactly like the doors in-front of High School Musical. Shaking my head, I headed inside in search of the reception.

I found it eventually, and was greeted by an elderly woman who had a thick Southern accent and handed me a small, rectangular piece of card. I was still trying to work out what she had been saying about how she loved British accents or something through her accent when the bell went. I was not expecting it and basically jumped out of my skin when I heard it, the receptionist who I now knew was called Helena, chuckled as I walked away in search of something called Homeroom.

As I walked through the halls in my oxblood Docs and leather jacket I got some funny looks and saw peoples lips move as I passed but couldn't hear them over Arctic Monkeys playing into my headphones. The room took me about 10 minutes to find, 5 minutes more than I'd care to admit. I'd have found it sooner if all the stupid corridors didn't look the same. I stopped in-front of the classroom door, took my headphones out and shook out my shoulders, why was I so nervous? I opened the door and walked in before I could chicken out.
