I tossed and turned that night, not used to sleeping on solid ground since I've been on a boat for so long. We had decided to camp on the shoreline of the island and explore it in the morning. But when I closed my eyes, I kept seeing images from the nightmare I had last time we were here. Voldemort torturing and killing Peter, me killing Fred by accident. Having enough, I got up, grabbing my weapons and wand.

Being careful not to wake anyone, I crept past the sleeping crew, and made my way to the shoreline. Realizing how dark it was, I drew my wand, whispering, "Lumos." My wand lit up, guiding me through the darkness. I sat down on the sandy shore, watching the water. My mind drifted back to Peter, much to my displeasure. You should be having a great time instead of feeling guilty for being here without him. Peter would want you to have fun.

Realizing that my conscience was right, I stood up, brushing the sand off of me, and marched back to the camp, suddenly feeling drowsy. Just as I sat down on the ground, putting my weapons at a hand's length away, I closed my eyes, drifting off to sleep.

I was woken up six hours later from Edmund shouting, "Lucy? Lucy!" I rubbed the sleep from my eyes, seeing the crew wake up as well. "What's going on?" I mumbled, getting my things together. Caspian put his black breastplate on quickly, replying, "Lucy's gone. And look at the ground. Everybody up!" I did what he said, seeing giant footprints pressed into the sand.

Panic gripped my racing heart as I gathered my things faster. "Get up! Get up, I said!" Drinian growled, seeming to be a little cranky. Edmund, Caspian, and I ran ahead, leading the group with the mysterious footprints as our guide. I silently vowed to run Fortis through whoever thought it was funny to take her. They wouldn't be laughing when I found them. With this in mind, my grip on Fortis's handle tightened to the point of my knuckles turning white.

Lucy walked down the dimly lit corridor of the invisible mansion. According to the strange, invisible beasts who kidnapped her, she had to find The Book of Incantations and read a spell out of it. It sounded easy enough, but if she didn't complete the task, all her friends would pay the price. And she as sure as hell was not going to let that happen.

When she came to a room resembling a library, Lucy slowly strolled into it. She looked overhead, amazed to see books circling the room with some sort of spell. Sure that she was alone, she approached a huge book on a podium. The title was jumbled at the bottom of the page, but she ignored it, trying to open the clasp. She couldn't do it.

Frustrated, Lucy didn't know what to do. At the corner of the page, she saw a winged child, maybe an angel, blowing across the top of the book. Deciding to try this, Lucy blew across the cover of the book, the letters rearranging themselves to spell out "The Book of Incantations". Pleased, Lucy tried the clasp again to find it unlocked.

She turned the cover over, looking through the first couple pages. Lucy read through most of them, unconsciously forgetting them as she went through the pages. Nor did she realize that she couldn't go back to a previous page. She stopped at two inky black pages with crisp white lettering. She said the words aloud: "With these words your tongue must sew, for all around there, to be snow."

Lucy looked to the page beside the spell that was all black. She started to wonder why it was like that until a small white thing dropped down onto it. In awe, she looked up and around to find herself in a winter wonderland. The smile on her face was one to rival a kid on Christmas. Seeing the snow pile up, she blew on it, watching as the pages started to fly by.
