Chapter 1

"Cameron come on the truck is about to leave!" My mother, Gina yelled. We're moving "trying to get away from the past" according to my mother. When I was about four my dad left us. My mother was heartbroken. He was the love of her life. At the time I just thought dad was on a long business trip..that business trip lasted 6 years. My mom went in depression, my sister was a mess, getting drunk every night, doing drugs, and then there's me. I was just trying to live my life. My sister, Sierra, went to rehab for a couple years with my mom. I was 16 when they left. I lived by myself. I didn't even know here my dad was and sure in hell didn't wanna find out. So I decided to leave California and travel the world. The first place I went was North Carolina and that's where I met my best friend, Nash Grier. I stayed with his family while mine were doing whatever they were doing. They became my family and I didn't even want to be linked with mine anymore. But it all fell apart. Me and Nash

were being stupid in the car one day, we just downloaded the new app vine that everyone was talking about, making our first vine, he slapped me. I turned around to slap him and lost control of the car. Nash died instantly and unfortunately I came out alive. The Griers moved away to a different country. Hayes was suicidal, Skylnn was just wondering where her brother was, Will quit football, and Nash's parents were struggling with everything. I never forgave myself.....I killed my best friend. How could you? "Cameron come on!" My mother yelled again snapping me out of my thoughts. I grabbed my pills, and everything that was keeping my alive at the moment. "You ready?" My mother said with a huge smile on her face. "Whatever" I said pushing past her. I don't even wanna be alive anymore. Everything pains me. I can't drive anymore with the fear of killing another person. I cry myself to sleep almost every night. I miss my best friend. I miss Nash Grier.
