Chapter 1

Vanessa's POV:

I woke up at 6:00 am, I wake up early because I take long showers I got up and went to take a shower. I wrapped a towel around my body and my hair I decided to wear jeans and a hot pink crop top that saids "don't care", I brushed out my hair and straightened my hair, I wore eyeliner and mascara and some lipgloss and wore some bracelets on to look not too crappy, I slipped on my pink vans and headed down stairs for breakfast.

"Hey sweetie" mom said

"Morning mom" I said

I ate a bowl of cereal and hugged my mom goodbye and walked to school, the school wasn't far from my house so I walked it was my first day here at "linking high school" I pretty much I'm scared and a little nervous. I've had been bullied since 7th grade I put headphones in and listen to Ed Sheeran I loved that boy he's like the best singer ever! I arrived at school and walked in with my headphones in my pocket and my iPhone and went to the front desk.

"Morning sweetie" said the lady in glasses

"Hi I'm Vanessa Thompson I'm new to this school" I said

"Yes right let me just search you up" said the lady

I waited till she was done and I looked around this school looked huge on the outside I hope I don't get lost in it.

"Here you are, my name is Marisa Mary you can just call me ms. Mary" she said while smiling

"Thank you" I said while smiling back she gave me my sechdule, she told a girl who had pretty light brown hair and who was wearing jeans and a shirt that was lime green and wore lime green vans, she also had light brown eyes.

"Hi my name is Christina" she said smiling at me wow she is really pretty

"Hi my name is Vanessa Thomson" I said smiling back we walked down the halls and we were talking about lots of things, we had lots in common too.

"We have every single class together" Christina said

"That's awesome so how's the school like" I said

"It's pretty big but some of the "guys here" are players so watch out for them" Christina said

I looked straight ahead and we reached our hall it was crowded with lots of people I saw couples kissing on the lockers and saw guys looking at me and whistling then I had death stares from the girls because one guy was checking me out and it was a guy with dark brown hair and pretty eyes he was watching my every move till then he grabbed my hand and pushed me to a locker.

"Whoa what was that for" I said my heart was beating because omg he was so hot! I never seen anyone this hot in my life.

"I'm shawn Mendes and you must be Vanessa am I correct?" He said smirking

"Yes, how did you know my name?" I said

"Because I'm the player of this school and..." He got closer to my ear and whispered "your gonna be mine soon" Shawn said

That had chills all over me who does this guy think he is!? Ugh I wanna kiss him so badly but no wait wat? Wat am I thinking!
