Chapter One Rue's Travels

As Me and Thresh Stepped into the train my heart beat gets faster by the second.When we walked into the dining/sitting area in the train Chaff and Seeder were waiting for us.

"WELL DONE YOU TWO ARE VERY LUCKY!!" Exclaimed Chaff.

Maybe not... One of my sisters told me that he was a bit crazy after the games.

"They're Unlucky Chaff. I'm Seeder And Obviously This Is Chaff and we will help you get through this dreadful event..." Seeder Replied after breaking the silence.

"I'm Thresh..."

Then I thought I should introduce myself.

"And I'm Rue" I Exclaimed. I wanted to just be by myself and figure out what to do.

"Well It's nice to meet you both."

"I'm sorry to be rude but can I please be alone for a while just to get over this?" I asked.

"Sure Honey go down the corridor and your rooms the third one on the right."

And with that I was out of there. When I was out the room I heard Chaff say" She's not going to last long" then Seeder hitting him.

My name was only in there twice so how did I get picked. My Sisters and brothers came to see me and started crying. I really wish somebody would have volunteered. Like that girl in district 12 . Primrose Everdeen (About my age) was picked and her sister (Katniss Everdeen) volunteered for her. She seemed very caring.I hope I become ally's with her as I really respect her.After half an hour of sitting on the bed in my room I heard a knock.

"Rue, It's Thresh Can I come in?" I didn't want him to but he's in the same position as I am .

"Sure"
