Two brothers climbed down from the ferry and slowly made their way through the thick crowd. Zach and Gray Mitchell. The older of them, Zach, who was in the later years of his teens, had neatly styled brunet hair and dark, almost black eyes. Gray, whose unruly blonde hair was always falling into his eyes, had yet to step into his teenage years, his eyes as blue as the sky above. The two looked nothing like each other, nor did they have any similar traits. Gray was excited and jumping up and down to get a better view over the heads of taller people in the packed terminal, while Zach looked the opposite of excited; he heaved a sigh as he glumly pushed through the crowds with Gray following on his heels.
"How big is the island?" Gray asked.
"Big," Zach said curtly.
"But how many pounds??"
"That doesn't make any sense," Zach glanced at him.
As they pushed through, Gray's excited rambles started. "You know, the park started with only 8 species but now they have 14 herbivores and 6 carnivores! That's 50 tons of food a week!"
But Zach did not say a word. He reluctantly looked for Claire, their aunt, who ought to receive them. He could not wait to drop the responsibility of Gray on her. Gray's nonstop dino-facts dumping all day long was not his idea of a vacation weekend. That was his daily life anyways.
Just as a man hurtled past, the small pouch that Gray had strapped round his waist almost fell off—he caught in time, but bumped with Zach in the process who casted him an annoyed glance.
"The camping is still two days away, why are you carrying that dork pouch already?"
Gray quietly fixed the fanny pack around his waist, before grabbing onto the double straps of his backpack. It was not just because of the camping, he liked to carry the emergency camping kit with him all the time.
As the crowd thinned, the Mitchells looked about, confused why their aunt had not received them yet. Until a placard caught their attention. A brunette girl in her late teens stood waiting, holding a placard with their names on it.

Zach scoffed. Despite not seeing each other for several years, their aunt had not come to receive them. He was not surprised, honestly. He knew Claire did not care about them anymore, despite being very close when he was younger. Unlike him, Gray was very disappointed.
"Where's aunt Claire?" He mumbled.
