Fresh POV
I dashed out of school and quickly home, doing homework in ten minutes or so and just relaxed on the couch. Cray came down the stairs after me being home for about twenty minutes watching anime. "How you doing bro?" Cray asked as he came down the stairs and sat next to me.
"Pretty good." I responded curtly, I was still trying to process myself.
Cray just sighed and said, "Do you want to rant?" I nodded and breathed in deeply,
"My sketchbook got torn to scraps, I snapped at a jock, I got push out of the bus and onto the curb, I got bullied, I made one of my friends mad at her crush, I did the whole new magic thing and caused a mini earthquake, and then I somehow win at dodgeball using a new ability which is most likely the side effect of the new magic." I tried to catch my breath while Cray processed. Cray cocked his head to the side,
"What happened exactly with the side effect?" He asked.
I tried to think back, "It was like the world switched out for an old piece of paper with no color, and then only certain things would show up, and they looked like they were drawn out." He just nodded, and suddenly my phone began to go crazy. I picked it up and turned off my work alarm and stood up. I saluted to Cray and ran out the door to the bus stop. I had to work since me and Cray were orphans, and there was no way I would let my younger brother have more stress.

Fresh POV
It was already the next day at school, and earlier over the phone I had told Alphys that Undyne had said sorry to me. Alphys accepted it and wasn't really mad at Undyne anymore. So today I was gonna have the two of them confess so my ship sailed. I had told them to meet me at the entrance of the school. Alphys and Undyne were standing there, quite awkwardly too. I motioned for them both to follow me, and they did. I stopped by one of their lockers and winked at Undyne and left. The rest was up to them.
Undyne POV
Crap! That nerd left me alone with my worst little fear! "U-Undyne?" I looked down to see a blushing little yellow lizard.
"Alphys, I..." I trailed off, I don't know how to start. I did something extremely rash and suddenly grabbed her chin and kissed her. It only lasted for a second, but it was enough to let us both become blushing messes. I heard a camera shutter and turned my head to see Fresh taking pictures of us. I was still blushing but now I was angry, "Get back here you little bastard and delete that photo!" I started to chase Fresh, he just giggled and ran away.
"The ship has sailed!" He shouted over his shoulder. We both left Alphys there, still blushing and surprised.

Fresh POV
Undyne had chased me around the school until the warning bell had rung. When I saw Alphys later she was still shocked and blushing. I smiled at her during lunch, she was still out of it. Suddenly a girl bumped into her, pouring processed foods on her, and I once again got milk poured on me. "Watch it Space Cadette!" She shouted. I looked back to see the brat, she was known as the school slut and cheerleader captain. She was a bunny monster wearing a tank top with short shorts, and was just called Bunny. I felt rage start to dwell in me as Alphys started to tear up. I stood up with Paps, but I was first to attack back.
"Hey slut!" I shouted, she turned back around.
"What do you want nerd?" She scoffed.
"Say sorry to my friend." I growled, a crowd started to gather, shoot.
"Why should I nerd? You're all below me." She flipped her hair. "And besides what can you do? You never fight back." She pointed a finger at me.
"Attacking me is one thing, I honestly couldn't care less." I said simply and shrugged, "But you don't attack my friends." I growled.
"What are you gonna do? Use your 'magic' on me?" she taunted.
"I don't need that to beat you, you're just a wh*re who doesn't know when to shut the f*ck up and leave people alone." I retaliated.
"Why you fatherless freak!!!" She screeched. I paused for a moment, how did she know that?
"I'm glad that I don't know him, from what I could tell he was a d*ck." I just shrugged at her attempt, and then I remembered her, her last name was Spear, there was a power struggle between my step-sisters and them. "But if I remember correctly so is yours, so maybe it's genetic." I taunted, if this was a cartoon then she would have smoke coming out of her ears.
"You son of a b*tch!!!" She screamed, I just shrugged.
"That isn't really an insult to me," I said in a calm tone, and she was taken aback. "it just means female dog, and most dogs are pretty cool." I just shrugged, suddenly she snapped her fingers and suddenly two beefy dogs came out of the crowd. I snorted at this attempt at intimidation, "Seriously? Three on one?" I was trying so hard not to laugh. "You always have someone else fight your battles, guess that's genetic too." The dogs approached me, I just smirked. "If you guys don't want to get hurt, run." People started to laugh, I was done with this. "So you really want to fight?" They started to run at me. "I'll take that as a yes."
PJ POV
I was completely taken aback by the nerd's behavior. No one tries to talk back Bunny, the one person who did was immediately beat up by her body guards. But Fresh was laughing at them.
"I'll take that as a yes. And don't blame me if you get a concussion." Fresh said as the two dogs dashed at him. He jumped clear over their six foot tall heads while doing a back flip. In the midst of the flip Fresh smashed their two heads together and he landed without an issue. I wasn't the only one gawking. He just grabbed his friends and went out of the cafeteria, leaving massive shock in his wake. I asked the same question the rest of the student body was most likely asking too, is Fresh a nerd or a jock?

Okay, so this was definitely unexpected. So why I did this, most of the time Fresh is seen as a helpless little nerd who can't defend himself, but I wanted to change that. I just wanted to put a bada** twist on the little adorable Fresh that we all know and love. For the whole step sisters - Spear thing I'll explain later, chapter 8 maybe, idk. Anyways, hope you enjoyed this little plot twist, and this loving cool cat's gone!
