Chapter 5: When You Are Ready

"Man was that food good~" Natsu said happily with a goofy smile as he rubbed his stomach.

"You said it~" Happy said with the same happy tone and goofy grin as his best friend.

As Arashi and Shin started gathering all of the plates, Lucy and Wendy quickly joined to clean up as well. The brothers argued that guests should not be cleaning up. Both girls smiled, saying that this is their way of showing their gratitude for a lovely meal. Well, neither of them could say no to such kind ladies.

Since Lucy and Wendy were helping with the clean up, Arashi separated from the group and decided to escort everyone else to their rooms.

Their home wasn't a mansion or anything, but it also wasn't an average sized house. Let's say if you compare it to Natsu and Happy's house, it would be three times bigger. About four rooms total, two of which belonged to each of the brothers. The other two rooms seemed to be guest rooms. Two bathrooms within the household, including the one in the master bedroom, in which Shin occupied at the moment.

Their home also had this large living room with a window as tall as the ceiling and as wide as the walls showing a clear view of the background beyond the town itself. Living on the edge of town was truly beautiful. Lucy and Wendy had the chance to look at this view after cleaning.

"Beautiful, isn't it? My brother and I are really proud to call this out home."

Lucy and Wendy turned around to see Arashi leaning against the wall, admiring the view from afar.

Lucy and Wendy smiled. "Thank you for your generous hospitality once again."

"It really is not problem. My brother and I are happy to help anyone in need," Arashi said proudly as he pushed himself off the wall and resided on one of the couches in the area.

There was a high pitched noise coming from the kitchen, which startled both girls. Arashi, on the other hand, quickly rushed off, saying that his tea was ready. Before he actually entered the kitchen, he turned back to Lucy and Wendy.

"Would you ladies care for some tea?"

Once Arashi showed Carla where she and the other girls were going to sleep, the exceed just flew over to the bed and just crashed right in the middle of it. She never moved after that. Just lied there while staring at the white ceiling. The blank...white ceiling...

Something flashed in her mind once more. The desolate

"Ugh!" Carla grunted with anger as she jolted back up. The grabbed the first thing she could find, which was a pillow, and threw it across the room. Heading straight for the door...right until it opened outward.

"Wah!" As soon as she heard that familiar shriek, Carla quickly flew over to the door area.

"Hey Happy, get up already," Romeo was there shaking Happy vigorously by the shoulders. To no avail as the male exceed's head just bobbed back and forth until it finally slumped forward.
