It doesn't take a burning sun
to light the face of a lonely soul -
a kind word can do the trick.
It doesn't take a desert wind
to warm a heart that's been broken -
a gentle touch is much better.
It doesn't take a red-hot iron
to flatten out the wrinkles of care -
a loving smile works magic.
