Riley's POV

I groaned loudly, being woken up from my sleep again by Sophia's cries.

I tried to get out of bed, even though the ache in between my legs told me otherwise.

I did, get out of bed though, picking up the little crying girl.

Sophia calmed down, her big hazel-brown eyes looking at me.

She cooed a little bit, then smiled at me. It was as if she knew what I was thinking.

Roman rolled over and groaned, covering his eyes with his arm.

"Turn off the light, Riley." He groaned loudly.

I scoffed and did so, leaving the room with Sophia.

I carefully carried her down to the living room, and rocked her back and forth.

"Sleep for me, yeah?" I whispered. It looked as if she shook her head, but I shrugged off the possibility.

She's only 4 months old.

"Baby problems?" Damion asked.

"Before I answer that, where the....." I stopped myself before I swore. I promised myself, and made Roman promise, that we would not swear around Sophia.

"You were saying?" Damion smirked.

I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. "Where did you come from, Damion? You should be back at the Destiny Pack."

"Yeah, yeah. I know. Responsibility and stuff." Damion shrugged. "What's wrong with visiting my little niece?"

I watched as Damion picked up my little girl, cradling her.

"Careful, or your pack will need a new leader." I warned.

Sophia started fussing, waving her little arms.

But then I noticed something.

Her hands were...paws?

"What the actual fuck...?" Damion swore. I gave a threatening look, before focusing my eyes back on my daughter.

I motioned for him to give her back to me, and he did so.

As soon as she was in my arms, she turned back.

"Relax, Ri. Her wolf is probably just getting used to her body." He reassured me. Or tried to.

"No. Not this early. She's not even one yet." I held her closer to me, shaking my head.

Damion rested his hand on my shoulder. "I should be going now. Call me, if anything. Okay?"

I nodded and sat down in a small blue rocking chair. I rocked back and forth, but felt a cold sensation over me as Damion closed the door.

When I looked back at Sophia, she was still asleep. I left her as she was, thoughts of what could've happened swarming my mind.

Roman's POV

I had a mild headache, when I woke up. I figured it was nothing and shrugged it off.

When I attempted to get out of bed, I couldn't. I was trapped in something.

A foul aroma made it's way to my nostrils, and I couldn't breathe.

I held my hands at my throat, coughing and wheezing for help.

No one came.

I thought I was done for. Dead. Gone.

But I wasn't.

A small pup resembling my daughter entered the strange force.

It was gone. The pup broke the force.

I let my hands back down to my sides, and let out a relieved breath.

Looking back down, the pup was no longer there.

I didn't think much of it, though. After almost being choked to death, I lay back down to rest.

Unknown Person POV

I snuck into the master bedroom belonging to Mr. And Mrs. Black.

Oh, how I despised them.

But the great Alpha himself, is who I'm focused on.

I put my hands around his throat when he sat up. I then choked him,as hard as I could muster.

The struggle for him, was real indeed.

"If I hold on a little longer, he'll die." I thought to myself. So I did.

I felt something nagging at my leg. A small pup.

I didn't mind it. Simply a distraction.

But when I kicked it away, the room vanished.

Or, I did?

I was in a place I hated more than the Black's.

The Human World.
